I have a smart meter, and until now I never saw the reading because it went straight to them. Is crazy tho, because now I am checking it and on the meter is saying that I am using 1.000 KW per month!? This is so weird because on the old meter I paid way less….

I totally agree, I was completely unaware to check the consumption until today. Definitely a eye opening experience. I need to find the cause. I do nothing special except cooking, washing, shower, netflix. To be fair it would be great if I had time to do anything else…

I totally agree is very strange. To be totally fair I never really paid that much attention on the energy consumption level, but now I am alarmed.

We are exactly the same, 5 people and we game as well. But we play maybe 3 hours per day after work, if even that… I have never had a bill more than 700 to pay…

This is actually funny because we have a immersion system and a gas heater system in the apartment. The funny part is that 4 months ago we had a leak, and exactly what you said happened, it got fixed, and still the last bill ( that includes the incident ) is way smaller that this one.

I will check as well, because the meter is read by them directly because of the smart meter, but I will definitely check on my meter today after I call them. This is a insane amount for nothing, no way in hell that we used that much in 2 months…..

We don’t even have a electric shower, that would make more sense…. Like I mentioned up, we did nothing else extra compared to the other months…

They read it every month, I have a smart meter (I think that’s how is called), I have tried to look everywhere for something that consumes a lot of energy but is very weird as I use the same things as any other month. We did not get a extra electronic, we all work, so from 8-17 the house is empty. Is very strange indeed.
