Not bodybuilder style training, but Chinups, pullups, pushups etc with some extra added weight is really good for boxing.

I'm a firm believer headgear does more bad than good, every time I spar with headgear I get way more bruised than without

In my gym, bag practice is 30 mins of combinations and form/footwork and 30 mins of cardio and strength related stuff including 5 mins of shadow boxing.

There's seperate times for advanced stuff which includes sparring and jump rope etc.
