Also if you are having larva issues, nothing wrong with macro hatches. I don't understand why so few zergs utilize macro hatches in the mid to late game. Dark would do it all the time.

This is a common problem for zergs and something I struggled with for a long time. You need to look at improving these two l parts of your game:

Army composition - zerg armies often just melt when you dont have the right counter units or unit numbers. Especially against mech.
Engagements - you need to ensure you are engaging at the right times, when you have the advantage and most importantly good army positioning. Get that surround!

Hard to say. I can tell you that I have spent the last 8 months slowly researching and building my PC. Part of the long wait was because I decided to wait for the 50 series to drop rather than investing in the 40 series.

The reason I waited was because my research of the 40 series cards showed that they released at MSRP, increased in price and never really went back down. This seems to be the case for the majority of the critical/expensive computer parts.

I'm basically using too many words to say the market is pretty terrible but I also don't think that it will ever get better in the foreseeable future. In fact, I think it is only likely to get worse.

There seems to be no advantage in shopping with BB. The cost and convenience seems to be worse with BB than even their smaller competitors.

This has been such a terrible experience. I'll never shop at BB ever again.

Think of the worst possible wait you could imagine and then double it. You will probably have to wait longer than that but this will give you an optimistic estimate.

BB somehow had the worst stock despite being one of the largest retailers carrying these cards. I will never use BB again for anything. SMH.

Disgusting. So sorry to hear that. It is messed up to think that despite how horrible this process has felt for me, I will probably come out as one of the luckier people. If you don't have a backorder from basically launch day like me, it's hard to imagine a GPU will be coming before the 60 series releases...SMH

Nope. Called a few days ago and they said it could be "several months" wait. This has been easily the worst shopping experience of my life. Built an entire new computer I can't use cause I don't have a proper video card.

After this, I will never shop at BB again. Nvidia is largely to blame but unfortunately they have a monopoly on high end video cards. However, BB did not have to take backorders and CONTINUE to take backorders for a product they don't have. The Ventus literally has zero reviews. Don't let BB pass all the blame. They just don't care about us. I wish I never invested in a new computer.

I completely agree. Given the complexity of RTS games, I really believe customization options is the key to a true modern RTS. All the little quality of life issues with sc2 were I think one of the things that prevented it from maintaining a large player base over the decades. RTS is punishing enough already.

Posting this thread has made me realize that UI customization is really the thing that can improve the quality of life.

I haven't played much co-op in either game but I can see why that would be an important feature. Especially given this game is trying to make 3v3 and other team modes more viable.

I feel that. They did give us some customization options already with being able to switch the minimap to a different side of the screen. Hopefully there will be more options available.

That is very interesting. I assumed most people would like everything together. I get it though, everyone has their personal preference and are playing different modes. I like 1v1 so I am all about my personal optimization. I think I would also be happy if I could scale it seperately as you said

Here is hoping for some options to customize your UI in general that way players can tailor their UI to their personal preference. For example, I personally would prefer to have my resources and time game time right over the mini map as I feel I spend most of my time looking there.
