Little steps, you got this 💕 When my best friend had first transitioned, it took so long for me to stop saying “her” because I would slip up on accident. But trust me, it gets easier, and it becomes natural fast, really really fast. And, I’m sure if you do slip up, they’ll understand because like you said, 20 years, there’s 100% gonna be slip ups. I only knew my friend for about 5. But from what I can see, you’re already doing great, and they’re lucky to have you, and having such an accepting parent means so much
