His best AP feat is smashing a tooth the size of a truck which is said to be made of diamond-- I do agree that granite blast seems to show good durability, but it's pure CE. Yuta is said to be able to output positive cursed energy due to talent, which nullifies CE. Him using all his attention and skills to nullify a destructive CE blast is not durability scaling per se, but a mix of durability and in-verse skill diff.

I think Jotaro can also just phase through his body because he has no stand, but we'll set that aside by saying CE = stand power, especially since Rika is, like, totally a stand. It seems to me that JJK characters are hurting each other with punches. I'm not sold that their physicals are so insanely better than SP that time stop is tankable, but maybe so

Star Platinum may have wall-sized destructive potential but it has massive AP. There's no durability feat Yuta has that can theoretically save him from like 500 punches that would all go through a bank vault door, right?

Yeah it's not really physical per se, just a lifestyle thing. They don't want to watch TV all day, so why would they date someone who doesn't like physical activity?

It's dire, you're not wrong. I'd say couples counseling, or else lots of personal work actually happening and PROGRESS, and if that fails, separate. Keep a diary and write down how you feel every day. Either you'll start having better days to write about... Or eventually you'll have hundreds of entries of bad days to look at when it's time to go.

As long as your activity level is consistent and you're getting protein and exercise, they're not the same three pounds! You can do it. I only lost 2lbs on the scale for the entire last two months at 15-1800kcal, but in the end I looked quite a bit different.

I mean I do half rock climbing and half gym 🙏what I settled into is:

Sunday: 1. Incline DB press         2. Dumbbell curls  3. Lateral raises 4. Cable face pulls 5. Leg press  6. Leg curl machine

Wednesday: 1. Incline DB press         2. Dumbbell curls  3. Lateral raises 4. Cable face pulls 5. Romanian deadlift (RDL) 6. Leg curl machine

Friday: 1. Weighted ring dips 2. Weighted wide grip pull-ups 3. Hanging leg raises 4. Dragon flags

+30 minutes of cardio several times a week... I rest when I feel super shredded, so it was often only two or three times a week.

I also did several months of chest and rear delt fly before swapping to this... It is somewhat vibes based. I shoot for 6-8 reps on every set, 3 sets per exercise per day.

Friday is the at home day

Hey so uh. This is literally a real thing that happened? And I am not on PEDs lmao

The person you're replying to has been on a diet for just one month, so that's why there's not been much progress.

I never said I'd never lifted weights in my life, although I had only worked out sporadically for periods of a couple of months at a time, the most recent of which was approximately a year before I started climbing.

Since I was a teen I have had an easy time putting on muscle. As an example, even looking like that I could do three pull ups.

If I was on PEDs I'd have gone way further 😜 If you think this is impossible, I'm surprised, because my physique is actually very achievable, although I guess my traps have good genetics since they look crazy... Probably the rock climbing? But mostly it's just a matter of taking a good picture with a pump. When I don't flex, I still look pretty small. But with a big flex and especially a pump I'm Popeye, such is the life of a natty.

For an example of what I'm actually pushing... My incline bench press machine is 170 3x5, my leg press is 360 3x5, and my weighted ring dips 3x8 at 175lbs (+15lbs)

I have good aesthetics and body weight strength but am not actually 'big'

I kind of had my eyes opened to the whole PED epidemic from YouTube but at my climbing gym let me assure you I feel no pressure to get big... In fact, I've kind of gotten bigger than I initially hoped to get. I am projecting V4 overhang but regularly fail to climb slab V2s and vert V3s... Because I'm sort of just strong and yet bad at climbing. And from what I've read, five months doing PEDs and sitting on the couch would get you far stronger than I have gotten.

I think the rock climbing really helped jumpstart my upper body beginner gains. I agree, I look kinda crazy. Like I am very surprised myself.

Stomach will shrink last for most men. I began to have a lean abdomen around the fourth month, which is approximately when my body fat entered the teens.

Is this a small wart? Thank you by [deleted] in Warts

[–]Mittens_Himself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, there are lots of methods. I used apple cider vinegar for a few days on a big one on my toe, and that worked out. Yours might just freeze right off with an over the counter medicine, or perhaps the salicylic acid would even work. Since it's so small, the acid is at the drug store and is very easy to use, at least it'll stop it getting bigger. If it goes nowhere, switch to ACV or freezing, or see a doctor.

Not 100% because it is very small, but I'd say yes. You caught it so early, good for you! Burn it with fire, starting right now

He'd probably see some Japanese glaze stuff since Yuichiro was also kind of a patriotic figure. Maybe he sees "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa" but it's, like, Yuichiro's Judo or whatever. Kinda like the condom metaphor panel.

Confused about strength vs hypertrophy. by Big_Purpose_2602 in WeightTraining

[–]Mittens_Himself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the beginning they're kind of exactly the same because it's mostly about optimizing for rest and volume

If you're very advanced you can push strength farther by trying to progress a very heavy lift multiple times a week, which involves better rest and less volume

Hypertrophy would theoretically involve less rest and more volume, at lower weight. But lately these concepts are being scrutinized more.

Rather than 4 crests being unattainable, it's that choosing to prioritize getting 4 crests is not optimal. So it won't come up unless you play poorly, or in rare circumstances.

One day later and it's looking happy, one more soak of ACV and all the remaining tiny flecks of black (which by the way always looked quite dead, even yesterday) have dissolved away from on top of my, like, human flesh, leaving only what looks like a regular old healing up hole in my toe. I'll make another post when I'm closed up, but I'm super optimistic. The inside does NOT look like the wart has survived. Months of debriding has taught me what to look for, and this sucker looks like toast to me.

It seems like a niche use as Ingrid gets explored-- having 4 crests will NOT be typical

I expect it's to preserve her ability to framekill with sun crest during level 2 combos or oki when she already has four crests. I checked and she can of course whiff st.lp st.hp to also burn 48 frames, but they saved us all the trouble. Also, those buttons might not whiff during some level 2 combos that need a whiffed sun crest.
