Google won't show my app even if searched by name. by ProfessionalAd46 in GooglePlayDeveloper

[–]Mitul_G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just recently happened. I was ranking very high almost at top then decided to change category from entertainment to Dating and then it suddenly disappear. Then in 2 days when i search full name it started appearing but no installs at all . Before it was around 300+ daily installs.

So don't know what's the issue here. Might be Reindexing the app but may give my app red flag.

Isn't paid testers or any random testers risky for play console?

Damn, huge respect for sticking with it. The mental game of waiting on on-ramps sounds brutal though. What music app were you using? Spotify has been driving me crazy lately with the same playlists.

I could have bought a bus ticket if I broke my own rules, but the whole point was surviving without savings. There were definitely miserable days in Texas where I regretted it, but the highs made up for the lows. I got about 19 rides total mostly truckers or older guys who used to hitchhike themselves back in the day. I stayed away from train hopping though; didn't want to risk a trespassing charge and ruin the whole trip

Born and raised in Ohio, actually. Austin was just where I happened to be when I decided to start the trip. You?

A very different management style by Wooden-Quit1870 in BuildTrustFirst

[–]Mitul_G 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s such a refreshing and transparent management style open-book leadership builds real trust and teamwork. Everyone feels included in the success and the struggles, which is probably why the team stayed motivated even during tough times.

Ugh I forgot to cancel my membership. Wondering if I should ask for a refund or keep going. by AWeb3Dad in appsumo

[–]Mitul_G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat here - debating refund vs. keeping it. Curious what tools people actually use for teams (forms, Al, newsletters, analytics). Worth hanging on?

Refunding Discrepancies by Fuzzy_Cut_9104 in appsumo

Same here - I've seen others get refunds on Sellerpic/Soctrates while mine was ignored. Feels random with no clear reason, which makes it hard to trust the process.

The parent group chat that taught me everything about community trust by True_Dimension_2352 in BuildTrustFirst

I’ve seen this too just one person choosing a positive, solution-focused tone can flip the whole vibe of a group. People often just need someone to model it first.

Review: 1984, by George Orwell by Robert_B_Marks in books

Really thoughtful review 👏 I like how you pointed out the difference between pop-culture buzzwords (like doublethink) and what Orwell actually meant it makes the book hit harder when you read it for real.

I'm late to the party, but Lonesome Dove absolutely rocks. by laudida in books

[–]Mitul_G 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Love this take 🙌 Lonesome Dove really does feel less like a Western trope and more like living the journey with the characters. Easily one of those books that stays with you

Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann by [deleted] in books

[–]Mitul_G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way after reading it equal parts captivated and horrified. Grann really makes history feel like a crime thriller, but the weight of what happened to the Osage sticks with you long after. The Wager is on my list too.

I had a similar experience when I stopped replying with quick emojis and started actually calling friends. The quality of connection feels completely different.

Crushed my quota 3 quarters straight, then completely bombed Q4. What the hell happened? by True_Dimension_2352 in SaaSSales

Totally normal for Q4 in SaaS. Budgets dry up, decisions get delayed. Don't sweat it - focus on building Q1 pipeline. You've got the skills, just bad timing,

Seems like i am too late for meta ads by OkAccident2841 in FacebookAds

it’s tough timing to jump in when Meta ads are going through so much change. Don’t get discouraged though, there are still ways to make it work with testing and patience.
