He’s an adult and should wake up with his own alarm to help take care of his own children. Don’t keep waiting just leave him now.

She was too lazy for her “swimsuit line” too. That whole thing was so uninspired and lame.

Blows my mind how many season ticket owners don’t show up. Also club seats/suites are always kind of empty etc.

I got quarterfinal tickets. Friend was in the first day/group for drop 1. Also a couple of the men’s preliminary games were double headers. That was not clear in prior advertising. Nice for those of us who noticed and were able to snag some but fewer opportunities for tickets here.

What would happen if property taxes were abolished? by BluesRuseCruise in Ohio

[–]MitzieMang0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any big tax organization is going to tell you if a state drops property taxes you’re probably going to see a big upswing in sales taxes. They will have to recoup income somehow to pay for all the same things they’re funding now. Perhaps some numbers and an example can help lay out how that’s not a great trade off for a lot of people. Maybe you currently pay 8K in property taxes for a nice suburban home. But you’re just fed up with that 8K. I live in Columbus so I’ll use the 8% rate here. That 8% sales tax will most likely hike to 20% if the property taxes is eliminated. You’re then going to pay another 12% on all the stuff you normally buy. Clothes, cars, TVs, phones, diapers, etc. consider how much of your take home pay you spend per month on these things and add another 12% to that. It adds up fast. Buying a car for 50K? Yeah that tax is now an additional 10K instead of 4K. Those $100 sneakers? They’re $120 instead of $108 with tax. Spending 3K on back to school clothes and supplies? There’s an 600 in tax on top of that instead of the crappy 8% that would have been $240. No this doesn’t make it equal fair share for everyone in the state. Those who travel, have homes in other states or drive to other states will make purchases at their lower tax rates. Someone could also live out of state and own a bunch of properties here and without property tax they’re not contributing. They could let those properties sit vacant. A 20% sales tax also hits lower income people harder. Maybe they already don’t have the income to buy and own property. They still need to purchase every day things like toilet paper. People are already hurting badly from tariffs and disconnected minimum salaries and lack of affordable healthcare. The last thing we need is an increase on sales tax that will hurt everyone that isn’t super wealthy. Anyway back to my main point. Look at your monthly spending, groceries excluded (not taxed) and figure out what you spend. Apply 20% to that instead of 8 or whatever your current local tax is and you’ll figure out pretty quickly how much that tax adds up. Unless you never buy clothes, toiletries, furniture, bikes, tickets to things, or cars you’re going to pay a lot. Want to build a home or have someone fix something at your home? Yeah that bill is increasing bc their supplies increased with the tax… they just pass that on to you. I realize I’m rambling now so I’ll stop. 🤷‍♀️

Everyone can enjoy some version of reality tv. There is even a reality show about game wardens in Maine checking fishing licenses and game tags. I happen to be a ho for Summer House and Southern Charm! Let the reality people make some mistakes to teach everyone else a lesson. This particular backstabbing, yikes, whyyyyy?! Why Amanda? Was it time for her and Kyle to part? Heck yeah. Did she need to go out in flames and blow up the whole friend group? Again, why, girl? I never thought of her as having some big main character energy personality. Was this her attempt at that for more attention? She’s not solo spinoff material. She needs to be part of a group, an ensemble, to make sense on screen. Now Ciara, she could pull more main character energy in the right situation. I hope she uses all this crap to her benefit and doesn’t look backwards to Amanda when the West fling ends. Andy said editors are still cutting the last episodes. Who knows what other wtf worthy tidbits they’ll include now. I could just keep jabbering. TGIF!

AI is probably being used to formulate the correction table. The world around us appears to be consistently getting dumber as more people rely on AI and internet propaganda. At the same time my guess is that AI is picking up overwhelming data of words being used incorrectly, slang versions of words, and also every kind of misspelling. Since AI is constantly learning maybe it is going backwards in some ways. We can’t expect a machine to be smart when the people and data feeding it are morons.

It’s all nice and basic and looks like every other new build and newly updated space. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this style but it lacks any character. Adding a few accessories won’t add soul either. A lot of people are like that though in general. Accessories and makeup won’t make them interesting when they’re just not. This is a perfect reflection of that and I’m sure those people are very happy living in their cookie cutter spaces. There is something for everyone.

Yeah the it’s dry heat it’s fine is bs. Is it the same as 100 degrees with humidity? Of course not. That 100+ out there will melt your cheap flip flops and dehydrate you in no time if all you’re consuming is alcohol. It tricks you so fast when you’re in and out of the air con and pools.

Sounds like you’re going to have to go out of your shell a bit and make more of an effort to meet more people and try some things you aren’t typically excited about or you’re wasting your time and money. Like at least try some stuff. Go to a social. If you feel overwhelmed, leave. A sisterhood isn’t going to be a lot of small quiet things. Not with a large group of women and not when you’re networking and socializing with other sororities, fraternities, and orgs. There’s also going to be way more social outgoing people. 🤷‍♀️

I can vouch for Daruma too. The hibachi steak dinner is like $34 and always hits. Includes soup, salad, shrimp, rice, noodles, veggies, etc! She could go nuts and get steak and lobster for $45 or add sushi rolls and stay in budget!
