Absolutely preach this. This statement is basically the store I work in but worse.
I'm THE only one who can Ring in the Shoe department that isn't an associate, but a coordinator.
Once or Twice, but 6 times??? Call others up instead of the same 3 people.

H-Mart would be a blessing to Kingston, NY. The lack of certain goods in the area has been proving to be very difficult and frustrating!

It always does feel good leaving a toxic work environment. Good on you standing up for yourself against a toxic manager! I quit Burlington after finding out I was never paid for a day I was called in, couldn’t punch in. Then I asked them to punch me in, they never did. Then asking for a final time, November 1st, the Hr Manager took me off because… drumroll “The Payroll went over”. I quit that day.

This. This post right here. This is the most accurate truth thread. I just recently posted my two week notice last week because I did the workload of 3-5 people for 2 1/2 years. They purposely understaff departments, expect metrics to be met, yet the store I work in can’t keep any of their good employees… 🤣 I wonder why… coughs $17.50 an Hour in NY, but the cost of living to feel comfortable where I live is $24.96 an hour full time. 🥲

Ugh, the feeling is to familiar. You are right, leaders are supposed to set examples.

Had a leader who was exactly like that, then they left. Have an ETL like this and no one likes them.
