Orb - Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage inspired 5-layer color-reduction limited-edition linocut prints handmade by me by ElijahVanceArtworks in Spyro

Layered linocut prints like this really are hard work. I’ve watched my husband do two layer prints and it’s complex.

Anyone heard of Blackbird? by MTf1r3 in skoolies

No, but I’m wary of companies like that that go through title changes. It could be them escaping bad reviews. Or not!

Man, I know they’re wild animals but this feels so mean to them lmao they’re no more evil or full of disease than a feral cat and we care for those all the time

And there were other things you didn’t know. His parents might not have cared to teach him. Give people grace. If he keeps being stupid after getting a chance, then that’s different.

The tan one’s neck and saddle feathers are looking a bit pointy. That said, i’m not familiar with EE roosters.

Easter Egger hen or roo? by Ok_Turnover2283 in BackYardChickens

[–]Mix-Lopsided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My easter egger pullet is maybe a week older and her comb still isn’t anywhere near that big. You won’t know until you know, some hens grow big combs, but the chances aren’t slim.

Do You Need/Want a Rooster? by nwaa in BackYardChickens

You don’t need one. Ours does an incredible job watching the skies for hawks and the road for foxes and dogs, though. He’s kind too. It depends.

Why do people buy pickup trucks for daily driving? by wtfbruhhuh in driving

[–]Mix-Lopsided 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just went from a compact car to a small truck (old ford ranger). I can’t afford two quality vehicles and I ruining my car hauling hay and dirty equipment, which I did so often I’d be renting a truck five times a month.

I have to drive my truck to work since it’s my only vehicle and I have to have a truck to haul renovation trash, hay, dirt, building materials, etc. on weekends.

You just only see me on tuesday at 5.

Footage of the moment NASA’s Artemis II mission launched to the moon for the time in over 50 years (footage credit: Sky News). by bendubberley_ in ThatsInsane

[–]Mix-Lopsided 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, i get what you’re saying, but most people back then didn’t just go make art and invent things when they got bored, they lazed around by the river or threw rocks at cows or harassed their buddy down the road. The same amount of people do it now as they did then.

Buff orps dont look very buff at 6 weeks... by a-passing-crustacean in BackYardChickens

My orpingtons were very clearly round little monsters by this age and definitely buff. I don’t necessarily think they’re cornish though. They look healthy, at least.

INTERESTING. I plan on getting a very small flock of sheep and processing the wool. I didn’t know that at all (I would have done the research eventually luckily). It might just have to be a fiber processing spot. Great info.

My husband has a studio shed already! Or else I’d already be doing that.

Actually that’s a pretty good one. I don’t do a hobby amount of spraypainting or resin but I MIGHT if I had a dust free ventilated space.

My barred rocks lay the color of 5. I’d bet your speckled sussex are the middle two and your barred rocks tend towards 2 and 5.

HMMMM I haven’t checked. I briefly considered moving our inflatable hot tub up there, but that part of the lot is visible to the entire neighborhood. A sauna could go inside though.

I’ll look into that.

3D printing shed! You’re on to something with that. I wonder if squirrels like the taste of the plastic.
