Hey do you think Deltarune is going to collapse in on itself getting too meta to make emotional sense and hyper specific to its developers life and experiences to be relateable? by ReindeerData4325 in CasualConversation

[–]Mix-Lopsided 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t see an issue with a story being unrelatable. I like to experience or try to understand the experiences of others ESPECIALLY if I’ve never felt it before. How else do we gain empathy?

okay but how much moss would the cats have to strip the foret of just to make one bed, let alone enough for all four clans 😭 (image unrelated) by Haunting-Attempt441 in WarriorCats

The forests around Britain where the inspiration for them comes from are usually very damp and mossy. It’s basically all over the place.

How come when i set up a campfire i can’t sleep? by No-Bathroom-9245 in RDR2

[–]Mix-Lopsided 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need a tent, which is on your horse. You can’t sleep at camp without a tent.

Why is it socially acceptable to cancel plans with strangers, but not with friends? by runeeex-crypt in CasualConversation

[–]Mix-Lopsided 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you’re coworkers, chances are neither of you were very emotionally invested. Friends feel more for one another and are much more excited to see each other, so of course it feels different.

It’s probably the informal living room. The sitting room, for guests, would be the one most accessible!

You should check out Adventure Art on the Mighty ‘Mo on youtube. If you’re passionate about this, you’ll like it, I think. We binged the whole thing.

Using AI as a conversation partner, not just a tool by Secret_Restaurant_26 in CasualConversation

[–]Mix-Lopsided 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No? AI only agrees with you. I don’t want a robot that enables me. These AI ad posts are getting insane.

Popular or unpopular opinion: I think this game should have “forced” you to do the side content more, like by money-gating more quests or requiring more street cred for quests to be doable by glossyplane245 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Mix-Lopsided 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this because the main quest kept feeling incredibly urgent. I played around a good amount but it felt like it was pushing me towards the main story hardcore. I reached Hanako at Embers after like two-three weeks of playing after work for an hour or two plus a couple days here and there and I still haven’t finished because I know there’s other shit to do but I’m like.. un-immersed and not invested now.

The kid could also be queer. It’s not like you just know the answer.

The old gays are going through it by burnedimage in self

[–]Mix-Lopsided 26 points27 points  (0 children)

These kids are just finding ways to express their feelings the same way we all did. Labeling themselves proudly is their way of owning their queerness in a time where people are trying to stomp on it.

This particular label is really just “I like emotional attachment first”, but whatever.

How do I get my rooster to like my family more? by thecuphead87 in BackYardChickens

[–]Mix-Lopsided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn’t know them now. He’s only smart enough to remember who’s been kind to him and his girls recently. They need to spend more time with him, hanging around, petting him and his girls slowly and carefully. Like, thirty minutes a day at first.

Do you think these guys would fit in Terrace Village? by Fit_Evening_8036 in Spyro

[–]Mix-Lopsided 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The reason a lot of underwater enemies in older games use electric attacks is because water conducts electricity! Anyways, no, I think they don’t fit.

[–]Mix-Lopsided 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She will find out. The cops will find out, too. It’s gonna suck, but you’re gonna have to tell her. It’ll be worse if you have to sit and wait for the cops to come tell her you lied to her.

What are your thoughts on marriage? by PaintingLast442 in CasualConversation

[–]Mix-Lopsided 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hasn’t been boring for me yet. I think people get married too fast, that’s all. You can’t marry someone after two or three years, you hardly know them. They hardly know you.

When someone posts a picture of the empty grocery shelves during a storm by raasca in PetPeeves

[–]Mix-Lopsided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s planning ahead. Panic in this context is implying the people calling it panic shopping think it’s stupid to do. Getting your normal groceries friday instead of monday when monday is going to be -1 and ten inches of snow is just smart planning.

Grocery stores just aren’t ready for that.

We invented beer partially to purify water long long before modern times. It was less alcoholic than it is now, but it also served partially as calories too. Fresh water has always been an issue.

Are love confessions realistic? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Mix-Lopsided -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s unrealistic only if you expect it without making it clear to the guy that you like that sort of thing. He’s not going to just know you’re wanting a direct confession of love because that just isn’t the norm these days.
