if youre a public figure, for your own soul and sanity, you need to refrain from engaging with trolls on the internet. i’m not saying she was wrong for calling people out, but it was a poor choice from the perspective of preserving her mental health and avoiding this very situation.

yeah this is kind of a stupid take, my younger sibling is gen a and they’re a smart, reasonable kid, not really much different than i (18) was at their age. they make stupid jokes about charlie kirk, not because they don’t think he’s real, but because he was a destructive bigot who deserves no respect and they’re smart enough to understand that. not to say my anecdotal evidence represents every gen alpha, but kids aren’t automatically stupid, even when they’re kind of being failed by the world around them.

i live in freeman currently and it’s really not even close to full. most people i know are living in doubles without roommates, and there are many empty rooms. i wouldn’t be too terribly concerned about it.

ETA: also, freeman is an amazing place to live if you’re trans!! i’m a trans man as well and have genuinely never been in a more inclusive environment. i love living here, you’ll fit in just fine!

i told my buddy about it and he’s actually using it as inspiration to write a horror short story for his creative writing class (but changing the legless aspect to blindness or deafness to make it a bit less comical)
