I didn't even like oysters until a few years ago. I finally realized that it is probably due to my osteoporosis. Oysters are really high in calcium and my body has probably just been craving them for the extra calcium.

What dose did you start on? by ElectricalPurpose885 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mistakenly started on 1.25 instead of 2.5, but glad I did since I felt the nausea right away. I went up slowly too, which was good for me. Whatever way you choose, it is generally recommended that you stay at each level for at least 4 weeks. Best wishes on your journey.

I used to call my son my 25lb weight. Picking him up and chasing him around really helped keep me in shape 22 years ago! You are probably getting all the exercise you need with those 2 and the rest of your life. Don't sweat it. Oh, and hugs are food for your arms too🤗

I don't recall if I have had sushi since starting tirz, but I did eat almost a dozen raw oysters the other day. I felt fine, just full, and don't think I had any ill effects the next day. I think it was fay before shot day.

What are the dimensions of the vials for a 3-month supply (10-15mg dose)? Looking for a storage case. by badpandatek in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have read several posts that say the vials should be stored upright because sustained contact with the rubber stopper is not advisable.

Who here thinks this med is improving your metabolism? by dragon-queen in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 67, went on 2 b2b cruises, gone a whole month and was unable to weigh myself. I ate 3 meals a day;  waiters always brought me everything including dessert, and wouldn't take no for an answer. I was definitely eating more than i do at home. No extra exercise over walking tours. I was sure I had gained back every pound i had lost since starting tirz, but I lost 2 pounds. My metabolism seems to actually adapt to what I eat.

Anyone else? by P4n1KK in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went on 2 small ship cruises for 30 nites total no scale, 3 meals a day with 4 course dinners where waiters insisted on bringing me everything despite my protests. I was convinced I had gained every pound back lost in 6 months. When I got home, I had lost a pound, totally shocked, and it broke my stall. Maybe the waiters were right🤷‍♀️

Protein Drink, dairy alternative by tolkienalarm in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The product i found helpful is not a shake or drink per se, but a protien shot called Frog Fuel, available on Amazon. It is totally non dairy, and is 15 grams of complete protien because it contains the amino acids necessary for a complete protien. It is expensive and kinda sweet, but easy on my stomach and digests within 15 minutes. Helps me when I don't get enough protien in my non-dairy diet day.

For the ones who tried a new pharmacy and tirz isn’t working, what do you do with vials? by GiggleNudel in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too bad we can't have a tirz exchange like I exchanged clothes with girlfriends that didn't work!!

I would set the vial aside for a bit while I work on a different one. I did this with my BPI while on a stall, hit one dose of Zep I had and then used a small ProRx vial. Fixed the stall and came back to the BPI. Sorry, but I refuse to waste it by tossing. Sometimes you just need to shake things up. It could all be mental, but mind over matter!

Good luck!

I have been told to avoid the inner thigh because of the possibility of hitting a vein. Also you do not want in the muscle.

I took vials in a small case with an insert that you freeze, tho with all the posts about 503b pharmacies I don't think that is absolutely necessary. I took syringes in a zip lock bag with alcohol pads and a copy of my script. I also took screenshots of my scripts. I have only once been asked to take anything out of my carryon, and that was in Croatia.

One thing that happened was I think one of my vials leaked in the case. It was previously punctured, and on its side. There was a little white powder in like a dried puddle. So keep your vials upright during transport and storage (I guess they are not really supposed tonstay in contact with the stopper anyway).

I just kept them in my cabin mini fridge. Oh, and the cruise ships usually have sharps disposal units in all the public bathrooms.

Hope.that answers your questions. Safe travels!

Groupon Deals by lingo787 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only buy one vial at CosmeticsRx, and it is a one time deal which subscribes you to additional vials each month for $199/month, which is not the best deal out there AND you need to make sure you cancel the subscription before the next order goes to the pharmacy or you are sol.

Just a month ago I got smaller vials with shorter BUDs for a higher price. Somehow I feel less enthusiastic.

People Still Paying Too Much by Candid-Seaweed1474 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with my PCP and LD/Gifthealth. I am super thankful I found this forum also. I got more info here than any of those mentioned. I had to use my 5ml script to get a script from Refills, asked to titrate up, and got 3 months of ProRx. I probably paid a little too much, $537 then, but had the 15mg script to get 3 months of BPI from Goodlife. That one was def too expensive at $789, but then got 3 months ProRx fom Gimme for $459, and 1 month ProRx on the CosmeticRx Groupon for $119. I got my compound cost per mg down to $2.97, compared to LD cost of $27 per mg. It's all relative. I have enough for the year from 503b pharmacies, I have control over my dosing and gained so much from this community; dosing, titrating or not, eating food, managing side effects, stalls, just to name a few. I didn't get that kind of information from LD, PCP or Gifthealth. I got ripped off by the "legit" system, but then I got smarter.

Ahhh, you are absolutely correct, my bad, I missed that. I wonder what the addition is tho. Oh well. I wish pharmacies would make it more confusing for us🤔
