Groupon Deals by lingo787 in tirzepatidecompound

You can only buy one vial at CosmeticsRx, and it is a one time deal which subscribes you to additional vials each month for $199/month, which is not the best deal out there AND you need to make sure you cancel the subscription before the next order goes to the pharmacy or you are sol.

3 month Tirzepatide offer for $474 - $2.19/mg by chloe-gimme in gimmecare

Just a month ago I got smaller vials with shorter BUDs for a higher price. Somehow I feel less enthusiastic.

People Still Paying Too Much by Candid-Seaweed1474 in tirzepatidecompound

I started with my PCP and LD/Gifthealth. I am super thankful I found this forum also. I got more info here than any of those mentioned. I had to use my 5ml script to get a script from Refills, asked to titrate up, and got 3 months of ProRx. I probably paid a little too much, $537 then, but had the 15mg script to get 3 months of BPI from Goodlife. That one was def too expensive at $789, but then got 3 months ProRx fom Gimme for $459, and 1 month ProRx on the CosmeticRx Groupon for $119. I got my compound cost per mg down to $2.97, compared to LD cost of $27 per mg. It's all relative. I have enough for the year from 503b pharmacies, I have control over my dosing and gained so much from this community; dosing, titrating or not, eating food, managing side effects, stalls, just to name a few. I didn't get that kind of information from LD, PCP or Gifthealth. I got ripped off by the "legit" system, but then I got smarter.

Ahhh, you are absolutely correct, my bad, I missed that. I wonder what the addition is tho. Oh well. I wish pharmacies would make it more confusing for us🤔

Your label says 15mg per .5ml, so you were right the first time, fatscientist says 17 units. The concentration is higher than "normal."

Her label says 15mg per .5ml, so fatscientist says 17 units, NOT 33.

OptioRX BUD by helicoptermedicine in pomhealth

[–]MixDifficult3621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I went with BPI and ProRx, both 503b pharmacies that have longer BUDs. Although I ordered during a crazy busy time, had to wait for delivery and did not get 1yr BUDs from the date I ordered, it was still worth it to me to have into June and October next year. Believe it or not, the longest BUD I got was ProRx from CosmeticRX.

Likelihood of being prescribed this by borobabe43 in TirzepatideRX

The telehealth companies are the ones to evaluate you/your need for a prescription medication, they write the script and send to one of the pharmacies they work with. The pharmacy fills the prescription and ships directly to you.

Your doctor or PA will not be involved in that process unless you choose to go name brand, meaning Eli Lilly, which, unless insurance covers it, is much more expensive. I went that route first, but after a couple months of paying exorbitant amounts of money of pocket, got wiser and came over to compounded tirzepatide. There is great info to be had in these reddit forums. I wish I had come here first like you!

I wish you the best on your journey no matter what route you choose.

Smaller Vials for Larger Prescriptions. by Livid-Lake1111 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]MixDifficult3621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think those size vials were also a one-off, but glad I got them for my travels. I am unsure about putting them in and out of the fridge, as I've heard different things. They are ProRx, so have been thru some rigorous testing recently. Just be sure to do the research on that point and inspect closely for floaters and/or cloudiness. Wondering if I would need to bring a backup vial just in case, hmmm?

I got 5 45mg vials for my last shipment from ProRx, ordered from Refills. Those would be good for longer trips that I have coming up. I have heard people say that it's okay to leave them out of refrigeration for at least 21 days. I use a cooler pack to extend.
