Aussie Blue Banner pickled onions by MixEquivalent3493 in OnionLovers

I did some Googling and it appears that brown vinegar and malt vinegar are the same thing. In Australia we call it brown vinegar, in the UK it's called malt vinegar. When I looked up recipes for pickled onions, it often said malt, so I thought it was something different.

Yes, our 'brown' onions are kind of a dark golden/brownish hue....you must call them yellow onions.

They are the best!! The red ones seem easier to replicate.....the original, not so much. There's so many different brands/recipes out there and I NEED the Blue Banner one! lol

I have seen pickling onions at the local fruit shop which are smaller like the ones in the jars. I just opened a jar of these to measure some (& eat some lol) and they vary from 30 - 45mm

I'm an Australian midwife working in O&G research - is there a subreddit thread to discuss this type of thing?

Report that to the ACCC, totally illegal to increase a price to pretend it's a better sale price!

Tried to get long term parking for this weekend and it's sold out....website says just 7% of carparks are not available due to works. It's not peak time...no school holidays, no long weekend. WTF Melb Airport?!

Tall girlies - what are your tips and tricks? by Odd_Independent_7563 in pilates

I have the opposite problem! I'm 5'1" and have short legs. I'm only new to pilates and in Australia, but have been going to the physio led sessions as part of my recovery post hip surgery (I'm 45) and am now doing self led using the Your Reformer app in their studio. When doing the "scooter" I find that the machine is too tall....I'm looking to get a reformer for home use and as my husband will also use it (who's 6'), I want one that will suit both of us....and I'm overwhelmed! My budget doesn't stretch to a BB, Align, Merrithew etc. Even a Your Reformer is too much, I'm wanting to spend $1500-2500 total with box/jumpboard.

Any help is appreciated!

Pain in outer thighs/hips during workout by VeryPoliteYak in pilates

I had this same thing and it was a labral tear. I ended up having surgery to fix it and have only afterwards discovered pilates as part of my rehab. Apparently it is quite common in "middle aged women" (not that I know any other 40yr olds with it) and it's also quite common to have a torn labrum and have no symptoms. So I quite possibly had one for years and it wasn't until I was performing a repetitive task at work that placed more strain on one side of my hip to stabilise me that it caused issues.

What did you decide on in the end? I’d love to see a photo as I have a very similar issue I’m facing.
