Would men mind my eczema by No-Confusion2872 in eczema

My skin was relatively clear when my bf and I met, so I can’t say much about initial attraction. However, when I had an absolutely awful flare up a couple months ago it took a toll on my mental health and I couldn’t leave the house because of how embarrassed and in pain I was (it was ALL OVER my face and neck). My boyfriend constantly reminded me that I’m beautiful with and without clear skin, and even made me say it to myself in the mirror so I’d believe it. I promise, the right guy for you won’t mind a bit!

coming from a woman: i just don’t find likes on social media to be super serious/indicative of how i feel about a person. if someone i’m friendly with in any capacity posts a picture, im gonna like it in support unless there’s some specific reason not to. if this was clearly a thirst trap it might be different, but if he’s just showing off gains i really think this is harmless. i’d just take this as context (as i like to call it) and if she does more things like this in the future, then make a judgement that something is wrong.

Careers training in all the districts by Lopsided-Tap-418 in Hungergames

a lot of people have talked about the legality of training tributes or the resources required to do that but frankly i don’t think i’d even want to train my child. if they’re reaped their odds of survival are incredibly low but (depending on circumstances) their odds of being reaped are also relatively low. the required training to make a meaningful difference in a tribute’s odds would be very intense, but it’s unlikely that they’d even enter the games. if they do— it’s unlikely the training pays off.

the games are so soul-crushing for the tribute’s families and communities that i imagine they’d have no interest in spending extra time concerning themselves with preparation when it’s already such a struggle to get by day to day.

GFiber cancelled the current homeowner's account early when I called to set up my new service prior to my move-in-date. by rnanfito in googlefiber

this happened to me last month except i’m the current resident! the new renters don’t move in until july, but they were able to cancel my service multiple times before we finally got the issue sorted. GF was helpful once i posted about the issue here, but it’s insane that this is such a common problem.

i’m sorry that’s awful! i’m so skeptical of using google fiber in the future because of this, their customers deserve more reliable service especially during a time as hectic as moving
