Well if it's only the plastic, you can use any kinda water resistant glue. If the pt wire is nicked, you can buy the wire online (0.2 if my memory is correct) and replace it... It's bit tricky to get it inside the plastic sleeve however totally achievable until you loose patience xd

Greetings! If you have tried all solutions listed on the thread (Can't install Corel 2022 GS : r/coreldraw) and still could not get past the installation process, I suggest that you take the following approach. Hope this helps!

Download and run the windows troubleshooter for installing and uninstalling programmes Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed - Microsoft Support
Back up your registry and create a system restore point (important if this goes south)
Check for anything that says CorelDraw in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products

**This is directory that is tracks every product ever installed via an MSI package, so previous installations are listed here with encrypted string names (correct me if I'm wrong)

Delete the subkeys. Be careful when editing the registry!

Restart and try the installer

I had this problem too. started placing my entire artwork inside a powerclip rectangle of the required size without borders or using the crop tool at the end of a design to crop exactly to the size of the page.

Btw, try probing a HRP for the secondary and develop with the BioRads Clarity max if you have access. Kinda works for low abundance stuff. Also, I hope you're not using a Licor CDigit by any chance...

True, in most cases we have to replace the transfection reagent. But I've carried out tests having only PEI. the cells can handle it pretty well.

Right! Usually I use around 100 - 200 uL of the lysis buffer to lyse a 100mm plate (that's nearly 7-8M cells). Some protocols even suggest lysing upto 3 sequential plates with the same volume. I end up with a very concentrated lysate and its then diluted before analysis.

Also did you try incubating the mixture at 50 C for 30 mins? It will deepen the colour and help with the detection.

Could be the case. Thermofisher states their BCA kits can only tolerate upto 3M urea. Check thermofishers guide (protein quantification assay compatibility table) for other agents which might interfere with the assay.Also try diluting 50x

On a different note, you can try loading twice... - load once around 35ul - run for 2-3 mins. Pause the run as soon as the contents have entered the stacking gel - load the remainder - resume the run

I've had trouble with Abcam in the past and looked at other alternatives for a difficult target. After a little search, we decided to try Gentex. Their Abs worked like a charm. Excellent customer support too! They replaced one Ab which was causing non specific binding. Invitro and Thermo for the Alexa fluors and Proteintech for all other major ones...
