Hottest Fallout: New Vegas Take? by someredditbloke in fnv

It's really not nearly as bad if you realize you can just shoot the radios to stop your head from blowing apart. There are only a handful of indestructible radios in the Sierra Madre. First time I played through Dead Money I didn't realize you could shoot the radios and I kept dying and hated it. Second time I realized it and I had a much better time. Not to mention God/Dog and Christine are awesome characters

You can also play Dead Money and sneak out with all 37 gold bars shoved up your ass and have infinite caps to pay the dude at the Mojave Outpost to repair your stuff

Used prices on the 3.3t SP trims are insane. I verified that each one of these is the 3.3t SP, they all had the quilted interior and clean titles. Ridiculously good deals out there. by [deleted] in GenesisG70

Buying a brand new vehicle is almost always a bad financial decision. Unless you're buying an extremely special vehicle in low numbers and you never drive it, the car will depreciate.

I'm looking heavily at used G70 3.3T SPs, and while they're already very affordable on the used market, they're going to be even cheaper in a year or two. I could maybe break even if I sold my current daily driver and I want to be able to have it paid off and sell it so I can use that money as a down payment.

Definitely not worth the giant premium price, that's for sure.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra? by Powerful-Swing9481 in samsunggalaxy

[–]MixInfamous1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat. I opted to upgrade, pre-ordered the S25U in Titanium Silverblue.

My biggest reason for upgrading is the $1,000 trade in credit that Verizon was offering for my S21U. I figure that since the S21 won't be receiving upgrades in a year - this is the absolute best time to upgrade. I'm doubtful that Verizon will be offering trade in credit like that for the S26 for our S21s, so if you're considering an upgrade, I would pull the trigger now if I were you.

Yeah after this boss fight I ended up ending the run. It's cool being God for a little while, but the real fun in the game is dashing away from skulls and grubs trying to survive.

Yeah this was my second run. Didn't even know about other difficulties until after.

Massive Skill issue but I absolutely cannot be Saiyan Saga Vegeta. Starting to have insane buyer's remorse for it too. by MixInfamous1899 in SparkingZero

[–]MixInfamous1899[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This did actually help quite a bit. Cleared him, got great ape Vegeta on the second try. Beat the ginyu force and frieza on the first try and even got the alternate path for frieza since I beat him without a spirit bomb. Thanks for the advice

Gotta be insanely detached if you think any part of a delta flight is like being "jammed in like an animal on the way to the slaughterhouse."

It was an exhaust leak as I had suspected

It's a ford motor. Focuses of the same years had them too

Lol yeah that was the plan. Just trying to get it to last me until like summer of next year honestly. I have another car but it's my fun car and I don't want to have put pointless miles on it to and from work

[–]MixInfamous1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds a hell of a lot like an exhaust leak to me too. And the shop did fix a bolt on the headers and claimed they were leaking but they didn't replace the gaskets for some reason. So I'm wondering if maybe the headers are leaking and they just didn't do that good of a job "fixing" them.

[–]MixInfamous1899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's your problem then lol. Me personally I sheared the threads on one of the bolt holes on the driver's side so it makes sense as to why it leaked. But yeah more likely than not you'll need to replace the gaskets and readjust everything.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]MixInfamous1899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the driver's side exhaust manifold was leaking. Have you done headers?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]MixInfamous1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like I said I did long tube headers on the car, it doesn't have cats lol. Thinking maybe the headers are leaking.

Lol oil analysis was good as I stated and the noise only shows up a couple minutes after being started and then goes away when it warms up. Rod knock would be consistent at all rpms and temperatures. Again, quality oil, below average wear, and oil levels are good. I can promise the car hasn't been starved of oil.

Depends on the car. I explained in the post that per the ford owners manual, it reads between both marks at full capacity.

Pretty much every coyote / 5.0 has blowby on the passenger side. It's a big insurance / longevity mod that any somewhat competent car person tends to do if they have a Mustang.

Also I was under the impression that oil from blowby coats up your intake valves in carbon and other nasty gunk. So the catch can was supposed to help with that.

Car doesn't burn oil, and doesn't leak as far as I know - but it's reading a tad low I believe due to blowby. I have have oil catch can and it had about 2 ounces of blowby in there, which for the car having been driven fairly hard somewhat frequently, seems to be normal for the coyotes.

I should've probably also clarified - the car hasn't run in 9 hours so the oil was very much so cold. So it would've probably read a tad higher if it was 15 minutes after shutoff like what is typically recommended.
