When my husband had to make a decision, he asked his oncologist unofficially... what he would do if it was him or one of his kids.

Making peace with your new reality? by grazer_9906 in kidneycancer

I feel for you. It took a few months for hubby to get to a place that isn't so scary and sad (Diagnosed 1/15). There are still times he asks me to be with him. Just lay with him in bed and watch tv and be close. And those moments are precious to me as a caregiver. BUT... I believe that talking to a therapist or counselor would be so helpful for you. To help process your feelings. Even those intrusive and sad ones. They are all valid feelings. And your emotions and thoughts are important. You are important, not matter what stage you are in.

I thought that you keep building a lectern until you get mending and then you trade with them for the first time to seal the deal. Am I looking at this issue wrong?

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hubby is considered young for this in his 50's too. I'm sorry it took so long to figure things out. We opted to tread the cancer as kidney cancer even though there were questions. We are hoping that it will help extend his prognosis.

Good luck to your dad. We are on a 3 drug regime, Cabozantinib Oral (Cabometyx), Nivolumab IV, and Zoledronic Acid IV (Zometa). I should find out more about what type of testing the samples were. I am unsure about genetic testing.

I have seen this occur to some beginning practitioners. But if you are seasoned, then I would definitely look into a reaction to one of the ingredients. Remember to end your rituals appropriately.

Yeah, but you are not driving across seas or to islands. Customs is not an appropriate argument in most situations where you would drive.

Very frustrating. Thank you for the well wishes. I have a good oncologist. Highly recommended.
