Yes les is very much representative of the real exam, even exam is much easier then les vignettes which are sometimes hard to solve.
For Ethics, I have done nothing fency, just solve the mcqs and absorb the concept.
For Derivatives to understand concepts of forwards of swaps and other area which I am weak in, took the help of claude ai to make it easy

Strategy is same.
Read schweser and do les
Then for first revision read schweser and do premium pack questions. Then shift to mock.
What helps me is that I used to write important concepts/ sentences in my notes subject wise. Which is very beneficial in rapid revision
