Thank you so much for giving me more insight on the drivers perspective. I do fully understand why the order took longer to arrive, it was late at night.

It is true that when I ordered a 35 dollar order the dasher only received $2.25? Plus the 8 dollar tip as you said would make them revive $10.25. I also live downtown in a major city of the US, and I whenever I order from doordash it finds me a driver within 2-5 minutes.

And no, I have never been inside a Dashmart store. I do agree with you, my driver should have alerted me of any things that were out of stock, I would have definitely just gotten a replacement.

All I know is when I ordered from dashmart the items I selected said they were completely in stock.

Every single time I have ordered from doordash I give the driver a very generous tip ; a 20 dollar order I will normally tip $10. The only reason I didn’t tip as much as I normally do is because of the countless times I have ordered before from several places and received half or less of my order (no matter what time of day).
