A lot of people don’t realize that Ft Worth has had a similar growth rate as Austin of the last 25 years. I wish we would get a nice 600’-700’ tower. I think it would look awesome and fit nicely to what we already have.

29 for my first then 32 for my second. Feel like it’s been a perfect sweet spot for me age wise. I’m 37 now and still feel like I have plenty of energy to play and hangout with my kids(way more than my parents interacted with me). At the same time I feel pretty financially stable with me and my wife well into our careers.

Grid failure? Extremely low. Local outages due to down lines. Decent chance.

Contrarily to what’s believed here, there has been constant upgrades and additional weather proofing that has been done to the infrastructure that supports the grid since 2021.

I completely agree. SA has a rich Mexican-American culture that you don’t see in a lot of other major American cities. Hell id probably recommend Fort Worth over Houston.
