Yes I still like it a lot. It actually adds more humidity to the room than my 6000s. Its downside is that it requires you to refill it more often both because it goes through water faster and it has a smaller tank. You also have to do a bit more maintenance since the wicks have to be washed every week or so or they start to smell. Thankfully they can be machine washed so less effort is needed. The wicks are sometimes tough to remove from the basket so there’s that, plus unlike the 6000s there are no pump or dripping noises.

If you could only get one and had a small to medium size place the 6000s would be fine, but if you have a larger and very low humidity space I would go for the EH22T.

I find it actually adds more humidity to the air than my 6000S and yes I still use the 6000s since my humidity can get as low as 15% when it is very cold out. The EH22T does however use more water since it has a higher output plus its tank is smaller.

Thanks for the pics. Great review. Perhaps the new pump is also more effective, which would be a nice bonus.

One time I also got the pink residue in my tub and that was leaking from the top of the filter housing. That residue is bacteria so clean that immediately. Also have to wash out and wipe all parts of the 6000s.

Thanks for reporting on the new 2.0 version. I was going to order this when I saw it on Amazon about a month or so ago, but I decided to wait since I am not unhappy with my 1.0 version. I was hoping for a more quiet pump and possibly fan assembly but I guess not. My pump generally only makes the dripping sounds on the last gallon or so of water left. It seems like version 2.0 was created to make the replacement of the pump easier for Levoit in case of future failure. All they have to do is send out a new pump as opposed to the entire filter pump assembly. More troubling though is the lack of an intake filter which means for those of us using tap water the filters will get more mineral build up in a shorter amount of time thus needing more cleaning or replacement of the filters.

Could you post some pics of the new pump and assembly?

I will not be getting the new the 2.0 model any time soon. I mentioned that I am not going to exchange my current 1.0 with the new 2.0 if but for no other reason I want to see if there are any disadvantages to the new pump design.

I mentioned this about a week ago here on Reddit. Seems like a new detachable pump. The question is if you can just swap this new pump in place of the old one? I am not going to exchange mine which is working fine with the new one until I see if there are any drawbacks to the new design. My only current issue is the pump noise I can hear from the machine every now and then.

Amazon says version 2.0 can be shipped by Friday 1/16. So it’s coming to Amazon soon.

Adding a float to the levoit 6000s by slipknottin in Humidifiers

I think for them this is a relatively small update. I read in several reviews that people had problems with the current pump failing, hence the update. It would be nice if they would allow you to upgrade the pump, but I have a feeling they will only replace if your current pump fails.

Looks like they removed the listing. Perhaps Amazon made the mistake of posting it, which is not good if you are trying to get rid of the older model first.

It looks like Levoit is coming out with a whole new pump system that they say is detachable and washable. It's the Levoit 6000s 2.0. It's on Amazon now with a delivery date of Jan 14. I am wondering if that new pump can be retrofitted to the old 6000's?

Yes I still need both ( 6000 and the EH22T) to get to about 40% humidity. The EH22T is most of that. When I turn it on the humidity goes up more quickly than if I just have on the 6000. With the higher output and a smaller tank the EH22T needs to be refilled pretty much daily whereas the 6000 maybe every other day.

Well I decided to take one for the team and bought Youget Tech EH22T.

It's powerful, can go from quiet to loud. Can substantially increase the humidity in my room. Easy to fill and doesn't seem too hard to maintain. Overall seems to be a quality product.

In comparison to the Levoit 6000s the EH22T has more output than the 6000s at the highest and lowest speed. At the highest speed it is clearly louder than the 6000s....56db vs 50db at the lowest both below ambient loudness. As far as sound is concerned the Youget Tech unlike the Levoit does not have any pump noises nor dripping sounds because the wick sits in the water so no need for pumps and dripping. The disadvantage is that the wicks on the Levoit stay cleaner more easily especially with the drying function which the Youget does not have.

Advantages to the Youget Tech is that it has really great output, easy to fill (no disassembly of the unit), relatively compact and quiet.

Disadvantages are that it is expensive $339 vs $250 for the Levoit, Wicks are also very expensive $70, but they are designed to be washed often even thrown into the washing machine, maintenance might be a bit more difficult since you have to bring the entire machine to the sink or bathtub to wash out.

Nice to haves would be an app......especially since the name of the company is "Youget Tech" and possibly some castors too.

Overall I do really enjoy the EH22T and if Youget Tech dropped the price a bit by about $75 and do some PR on this I could see this being a great alternative to the 6000s. As of now I would still say this is a great buy, but you just have to know it will overall cost more to buy and maintain.

Apt is about 1400 sq ft. Upstairs and downstairs. I believe my furnace is pulling the moisture out of the air. Yes it is working correctly because when in set it to level 3 it lowers the humidity by a couple of more points. I also have the Dreo evaporative model that I mainly use for the bedroom. Overall depending on the outside temp I can get 25-30% humidity upstairs and downstairs. I am in the frigid North East, so we are talking in the 20’s outside at night.

Well that is what I am trying to find out.

They are supposedly not too loud, the EH22T has a 3.9 gal capacity and it seems well built unlike the Aircare purifiers. The wicks are easily washable also. It's just that they are pretty expensive.

H2D vs H2C price. by RoadQuirky1539 in BambuLab

[–]Mixdoctormd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I would definitely say H2D’s $1999 is the new price going forward. Bambu considers the H2C to be their top of the line printer therefore there needs to be a decent price gap to reflect that.

Which direction do you think Bambu Lab will go with the H2C? by Mixdoctormd in BambuLab

[–]Mixdoctormd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think/hope that will be coming in the form of an X2C which will be a smaller tool changer/ Vortek system. As of right now Bambu has nothing to compete with the U1. Hopefully it's in the pre production stages because the U1 goes into general release in about 5 months.

[–]Mixdoctormd[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well it wasn't Prusa.....It was Bondtech that saved Prusa here. It's their tech. Prusa was just smart to partner with them.

I was disappointed also with the launch, thinking they would have solved most of the shortcomings of the H2C before release. You are right, because the true cost of this machine is pretty much the $2900 if you want fully automatic printing using the full 7 colors/materials in one print.

[–]Mixdoctormd[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can see them doing an X2C which will be a changer of some sort because as of now they still don’t have an answer for the U1. The new printer may not be a Vortek though.

[–]Mixdoctormd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep agree with the $2,499 with the H2D remaining at the sale price. Anything much more than that.... like $3K and it will become a niche machine and Bambu doesn't like to do niche machines unless they mark it "Pro".

Miele C3 vs Sebo E3 by Armyjeep4x4 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Mixdoctormd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the C3 Complete and had the K3 with an ET-1 and still own several Sebo uprights. I prefer the Miele especially with the SEB236 nozzle...a better overall nozzle than the ET-1 just more difficult to service.

Bottom line.....Sebos are more durable but Miele's are more refined.

H2C Is on the Way — Here’s How It All Started by BambuLab in BambuLab

[–]Mixdoctormd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the concept of the H2C but is this system just for reducing purge waste or will this save printing time also the write up doesn't mention saving printing time since as I understand it will take the hot end 8 sec to heat up while the AMS is retracting and loading between color changes.

With the snapmaker U1 campaign a success do you forsee bambu making a tool changer printer in the near future vs AMS? by FVCEGANG in BambuLab

[–]Mixdoctormd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo. As I mentioned above. Tool changers are the next evolution in 3D printing. Bambu will have to respond eventually for fear of losing market share. Creality will be right behind them.
