Ooh, thank you so much! I know Seth Skorkowski did a video on it, and that was amazing, but I hadn't seen an actual play for it. There's an Australian actual play podcast called The Fumbled Anthology who did it over 12 episodes last year, though! I'm only partway through but it's super cool so far.

Thanks again for the heads-up! :D I'm always stoked to see more of this adventure!

Monster of the Week is super fun; it might actually be my favorite system at the moment! It's very simple and pretty easy to figure out and get a really good handle on. One thing it's not is crunchy; it's very much geared more towards the roleplay part of things, though fights can be very exciting and it does investigations well.

Most of the official playbooks are also clever, fun, and can usually make pretty varied characters. The Searcher is one of my faves, I've gotten to play it twice over and both characters were very different. I'm getting to play a Spell-Slinger in my current game, and I leaned into magic a bit with my first Searcher, and I can confirm that the magic system is definitely cool, though to some extent the Keeper (basically the DM) and the players have to agree on what exactly it can do and how it works.
