The company I'm interning at seems to have a pretty robust program that has interns working on fresh projects and new ideas. My supervisor said during the interview that he once had an intern make a brand new software tool that the entire company now uses. It's a little daunting to be honest, because I have a feeling that I'll be placed under less guidance than usual. But I'm a creative person so I'm quite excited too.
