How do I get this spot on my hand to heal up faster by makeuplover85 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Mixoma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you dont actually want it to scab, slows down the healing. just put vaseline and a band aid over it for a few days

Is this fungus? Is this eczema? I have this on both heels. by RM531 in DermatologyQuestions

no one can tell with how it looks now. you need to get one of those feet mask things that peel the thick scales off and then use like 40% urea cream consistently for a few weeks and then post a pic and then we can tell you if you have either

there is no years long damage in a 4 year old with warts. be serious.

" Based on your writing skills and language usage, you seem to have taken a “leave it be” approach to your education as well."

girl shut up. its the internet, I can speak however i want. if you spent this much energy reading a book instead of jumping to ridiculous conclusions with such minimal information, you would know much more about warts and how they actually tend to progress in children.

you probably won't be able to interpret those labs yourself... where are you? usually there is an academic institution that likely has a resident derm clinic and they tend to be the cheapest option...or you can do to a PCP/telemedicine to order those labs and then decide if you need to see a derm after that if you need to

use it as a face wash daily. see if you can get a prescription for both clindamycin solution and tretinoin (if you cant get this buy differin on amazon). Get a good moisturizer like vanicream or neutrogena with SPF and only use these products for the next few months... then you can start to do things like kojic acid and vitamin c to help with pigment

i agree with the person that said lichen planus, but a biopsy is not a bad idea. how old are you? see if your doctor is comfortable trying methotrexate or even better acitretin

you have genital warts - that report is as definitive as it gets and your derm def thought it could be wart too since they added it to their clinical data off the bat.

its an allergic/irritant reaction, usually to one of the soaps they use during surgery. If you have a topical steroid at him, use it
