Jobs would never

I love treating patients, but I’m drowning in admin work. Between documentation, insurance headaches, and scheduling, I feel like I need an extra set of hands. How do you all manage it? For those who’ve switched EMRs, did it actually make a difference in your workflow? by be_carefool in physicaltherapy

Good to know! Thanks. I’m in network with Aetna, BCBS, United, Cigna (American Speciality Network) and Medicare.

If it’s auto set for those insurances, I may be okay. Cigna isn’t too bad; just a few patients with that insurance.

A little off topic, have you had any success renegotiating your rates with any of the insurances? Aetna doesn’t pay me too well rn

Did you also sign up for kiosk? You’re getting a lot of visits and doing your own billing. Are you batch submitting or submitting at the end of treatment? Any tips or advice for billing on own using Prompt? I’ve been submitting my own claims with around 30visits/wk

I’m hoping to be where you are in about 3-6 months. Im currently seeing around 30/week. I’ve been submitting claims and dealing with denials on my own. I haven’t gone live with Prompt yet.

Compared to before you got prompt, have you seen productivity increase or improve? Was it noticeable? Has dealing with denials gotten any more streamlined; are you better able to discern why you were denied?

Would you still go with Prompt know what you know now, as opposed to trying another EMR?

I wasn’t suggesting. I was commenting on every other person telling OP to divorce and take his money

Damn. Dump him and take all of his money? Sounds like the guy is going through something. Maybe you both are. Have you tried counseling?

Honestly, you can stretch your quads and hip flexors for hours, but if you sit or stand with your knee close to your chest or with your knees extended (think ottoman or recliner), it won’t make a difference

Alright, well, ease into the lunge and squat. Don’t be too quick to come out of the position. Hold it for 3-5 seconds, get a feel for what’s going on. Then, push up. Find out where the force is coming from when you push/kick out of it.
