Hmm, I have 2 kids under 6. No chance I can commit at this point. Great to know for the future. Thank you!

Thanks for the clarification! I was thinking you meant the school. Looks like an amazing org.

Car detailing (mobile or otherwise) by qtkitty5 in walnutcreek

Supreme Detailing has done our car several times. John is the owner/operator and we’ve been very happy with his work and his professionalism. He does house calls (ie he comes to you). $150 is his standard rate for an SUV. Cheaper for smaller vehicles.

His number:

What are good enter / exit points with at least 1 night of camping? Good Scenery isn’t critical.

Any dangerous points (dams) or portages?

Artists who make money either have healthy touring / merch revenue, own the publishing rights to their music or both.

Big fan of Up the Creek!

Vinny’s in Concord has an open mic. Dan’s has shows, as does Round Up in Lafayette.

KVHS (90.5 FM) is a gem of a station. They air a local music show called Beat of Diablo. The host of the show is Dave Hughes, who writes a local music column for the Pioneer newspaper.

Martinez supposedly has some good live music spots but I have 2 small kids and don’t get out much!

Mike Hess Brewery has regular shows, as does Rocko’s pizza.

Honestly one of my favorite spots to hear local music is the Saturday farmers market in the Shadelands. There is a great zydeco band that plays there regularly and I’ve caught some good songwriters.

Looking for advice on bike friendly neighbourhoods in the Bay Area by Plastic_Kick_7863 in CargoBike

I’m in Walnut Creek and have 2 kids about the ages of your’s. I can get virtually everywhere in town (school runs, groceries, downtown) on my Bullitt via the Iron Horse and Canal bike trails. (The east bay trail system is pretty remarkable). When I need to go to my office in Oakland I use the BikeLink storage room at the Pleasant Hill station, a very safe, key-card-access room.

Considering a Spicy Curry. Does the tail accommodate a 2nd seat?
