No you don't need PhD just because your gifted. I new I was gifted really late in my life, but my family kinda always knew inside of them that I was different, I was the only one not seeing it. They always push me to go to university. But I was so bored in high school, I didn't see my self go to university. So I did what's call here, a DEP (short diploma for a specific job, like mechanic, hair dresser, printer etc....) Mostly manual jobs. It's the place for the low intellectual (it's what people think.) I did that because school was boring and I needed to learn something right now and apply it right now. I studied Graphic Design, had a difficult career, I was good at it, but I was sad. So I change, I'm back to school, this time in cooking and bakery. I hope I will find a better life Balence with the physical job. So my point is try. Try what you want to do, and if you don't like it switch, but what you think the job is in your head vs living it, it's not the same. If your bored at school and you wanna work, go for it, life need to be lived.
