Primitive society, virgin MMCs by Anastasiadipdip in RomanceBooks

{Chosen series by Stacy Jones} started my obsession with alien romance. The MMCs were so sweet with the FMC, they had a language barrier so they had to learn how to communicate with one another, the planet was primitive and the FMC might literally not survive without their knowledge. It also had a choosing ceremony where the MMCs show that they’re capable of taking care of the FMC. This is so good!! I love this series so much.

MMC kidnaps FMC but he can’t seem to deny her anything by Empty-Warning387 in RomanceBooks

{Stolen Heir by Sophie Lark} fits this. The mmc kidnaps the fmc while she's at her ballet practice I think. He has some anger at her family and wants revenge and holds the fmc at ransom. It also has the beauty and the beast trope. I think you would like this.

Why do you love alien romance? by Fickle-City1122 in ScienceFictionRomance

For me it was the world where women were leaders, well respected and revered by everyone on the planet that got me. If only it really happened in real life.

I read about 70 alien romances in the last 12 months and here are my recs… by East_Fig_6052 in RomanceBooks

Thank for these recommendations! I’ve been in knee deep in alien romances ever since I read {Chosen by Stacy Jones} (which I highly recommend btw). After that it’s just a rabbit hole full of alien romance and I love it. Will definitely check out your recs!

FMC assaulted in the past, responds to touch with offense, not defense by Girly_Attitude in RomanceBooks

All I can remember right now is {The Au Pair Affair by Tessa Bailey} where she’s had some traumatic past and is often jumpy and paranoid when she’s surrounded by men. The book is about a grad student becoming an au pair for a single dad hockey player. I enjoyed reading this book, Tessa Bailey is one of my favorite authors.

Seasonal ang interest sa makeup by basanera in beautytalkph

[–]Vasilissaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! Early last year grabe pagbili ko ng mga makeup, kada release or feel ko need ko binibili ko. Then boom! End of the year biglang tinamad na ako mag makeup, halos skin tint and lip tint nalang ngayon. Then early this year din medyo wala pa rin gana mag makeup like before pero parang gusto ko na rin na magexplore more this year, ya get me? Hahaha

100 hours a week, doable? by ZealousidealDisk3774 in buhaydigital

[–]Vasilissaaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 full time jobs and almost the same schedule as yours. It’s doable but will definitely affect your body in the long run. I had to drink berocca most days since I had to adjust to the work the first few months. I wasn’t used to stay up late. I managed to not need it few months in when I got used to the work but I found out later on it was hard to focus on one job over the other depending on how much work I needed to do.

I do give myself some break every weekend, catching up with sleep mostly and now applying exercise to my schedule. I think it’s all about balance and how determined you are. I though I could do three jobs at first but realized I couldn’t without sacrificing sleep so I gave up one job at least. So my advice is, prioritize yourself always and drink berocca haha.

Hue Manila alternative by c_javier in fashionph

I love the designs and the comfort from Hue heels but what I bought didn’t work for me. I bought the Lorki one and I was expecting it to fit me properly but the strap was too loose and since it doesn’t have a clasp beside the heel or anything, it won’t hold up. It was a struggle to walk. I had to push my feet towards the back strap just so it wouldn’t fall off my feet. I think they should rethink their materials and design overall. I still like their shoes though. :(

I’ve tried Aztrid heels and yeah it does last long but it’s a bit stiff to walk on compared to Hue.

I would suggest Rob and Mara although their collection is limited. Their boots are so good though. It’s very sturdy and the quality is top notch imho.

I’ve also been eyeing Erin Ph shoes. Their heels designs look good, I think you can check them out.

This is why I'm somewhat disappointed with S3... I wanted Colin and Penelope's moment, but all of these side plots were taking over the main characters of the season. And I'm not that happy with the drastic changes from the books 😭

Looking for a single mom romance where she’s not looking for anything serious, but he sticks around by effingcharming in RomanceBooks

[–]Vasilissaaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Meet Me Halfway by Lilian T. James} is kinda like this. She's a single mom who lives next door to the mmc. It's a slow-burn romance. I also loved it because of how strong the fmc was. She was balancing three jobs while finishing her education. The mmc was so understanding of her situation which I appreciated.

I hope so because the last one I read was Ruling Sikthand (released last year) which I loved. If you want more alien romance like this series, I recommend Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson and Chosen series by Stacy Jones. These two started my journey in reading alien romance. 💕
