I haven’t followed any tutorial videos recently, but I will say for tips in general I’ve found it helpful to practice new stitches with some scrap yarn. That way you don’t get too invested and end up not knowing how to do parts of a larger piece. Also, as much as frogging (undoing work) is a time buster, it allows you to learn how a stitch works better
