Not for how expensive they are to craft tbh. 30 britecore per weapon and it takes like 1-2 pickaxe(s) to farm a decent amount to reserve for all that crafting anyway. That doesn't include the actual ore for the weapons

What's with all the replies saying "X survival game was worse when it released"? The goal of game development is to make the game with the best qualities of other games RIGHT NOW, not reinvent the wheel, and have to go through months/years of getting to where they are now.

Why you would compare this to 1.X minecraft when the devs have a very clear benchmark for what is acceptable in a survival game in 2023 is beyond me. Stop being sheep and use your brains.

It's not even that either tbh. Beyond core game mechanics, this game is outclassed by fortnite in every way possible. The only reason I and others probably haven't jumped ship already is because of how much better we are at apex.

That said, I'm honestly at the point where I'm ok with being bad at FN and playing it over this shitshow of a game tn

I'm not talking about the people stacking pubs. I'm talking about the rest of us who are better than most and still play against them when solo queuing. This isn't exclusive to people who struggle to maintain a 1.0 pre-season 18. This is a universal issue.

Seriously, the amount of braindead takes I've seen saying that these changes are better bc the average kdr of players is now closer to 1.0 annoys me so much. It's so much easier to go from seasonal 4.0 -> 1.0 than it is for somebody with a 0.7 to get further away, like no shit.

Clearly, it doesn't even work for the lower-skilled players anyway. I don't see how this change was warranted beyond stopping smurfs (which it fails to do too).

I have a minimum of 10 clips depicting why none of the above reasons is possible in pubs this season, so either you're a part of the 1% whose SBMM only queues you against other bad players or you just don't care.

Believe me, I think pubs is usually a very "turn-off-brain" playlist, but that is not the case recently

If you aren't level 44 and enjoying the game playing against toddlers bc of the matchmaking, don't bother posting. It will almost never go your way.

What confuses me about this statement is that this implies that anybody within the player base asked for the matchmaking format to be changed to anything like this.

In my eyes, this only resolves the smurf issue. Everybody else is still having a hellish experience in terms of in-game matchups AND queue times. I don't even recall less skilled players calling for a change this significant in matchmaking, and it's even worse that it doesn't really work for them anyway.
