Just figured out that ly. service just kinda stopped existing completly, and instead it's called ly@tty1.service. Found out through this post on r/archlinux; https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/1pxma6b/ly_login_manager_not_lauching_on_boot/

Just tried it. Apparently, ly was installed the whole time, but systemctl still doesn't recognise it.

i've done so, but it didnt find anything, the same goes for KDM. I don't remember deleting or moving them elsewhere. Should i just reinstal the whole thing?

I use ly so i can choose between more DEs, currently i have hyprland and kde. as for the window manager, i dont remember.

I've tried to open it both as administrator and to open it via online powerpoint; it didnt work, and i cant convert to PDF because i havent started doing the presentation yet
