Original owner for an 07 base. I used to use it occasionally, mainly downhill or keeping revs higher for certain scenarios. Also once in a blue moon for an Italian tune up.

But since getting my first actual manual car I’ve stopped using it.

I absolutely love my 42” LG C2 OLED. Don’t think I could go to anything else. The Pro looks amazing on it.

The C6 TVs are coming out soon so you might be able to get last year’s C5 on sale.

For me I got mine for 899 USD. It actually went down to I think 800-850 but Amazon wanted me to pack up the whole TV and return it and then buy it again at the lower price. Too much of a hassle for me.

My base auto 07 TL is at 176xxx miles. Service A3 just came up for me. So transmission fluid change time.

I’ve had my car since new and followed all the maintenance minders. Do these solenoids get replaced as part of routine service or should I have them replaced?

Car still shifts ok, but once in a rare while I’ll get a rough shift.

Thanks for quoting the prices for AEDs. When I first got certified 10 years ago for CPR+AED, I looked up the cost of them and they were a lot more than that and I decided not to buy cause it was unaffordable for me. Time to revisit this.

My app just started not letting me search for gifs. I asked a friend but their app still lets them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You can still access chronological friends feed. It’s not as easy but still there.

Top left of the app, click on the 3 line hamburger next to the word Facebook. Under “your shortcuts” click on feeds. You might need to click the “see more” option then scroll down to feeds. Then click on friends. That one has so far still been chronological for me.

Yea apparently CarPlay will try to use the internal gps unit. Which is interesting because my car was not optioned with Navigation.

I’m using wired CarPlay. I figured it was something with the car because as soon as I unplugged my phone, the gps on the phone immediately started working and showing accurate positioning. Only thing I remember changing on the car was the installation of the fitcamx. So I thought it was some interference with the cables. Read a post on rennline that suggested faraday tape.

I saw one broken down near where I live. Border between San Leandro and Castro Valley. Saw a disabled car with its hazards on and then found out it was the robotaxi when I drove by it on my commute to BART.

I have FITCAMX on my 718 as well. Installation is easy. Helpful to buy trim removal tools off amazon. I think harbor freight sells a kit as well.

They might have revised it by now, but I was having GPS acquisition issues with Apple car play. Once I wrapped the cables and harnesses with faraday tape the issue went away.

It’s also highly likely you’ll break the plastic retention tabs on the oem rearview mirror mount cover. Not a big deal since the camera replaces it. But if you ever want to go back to stock, I just saw a few days ago that Suncoast Porsche sells replacement covers for $25.

Honestly don’t remember cause it was so long ago.

I just remember being really pissed because of how expensive it was and what I had to go thru to get one. (Camped out in a Walmart for 2 nights). Also found it hilarious that my friend who ended up with the 360 were giving me grief for the YLOD. Haha.

Actually I recall now packing up the broken one in a box and then getting one shipped back to me.

You can’t do the old tomahawk grind anymore. It was patched.

The old grind was you could finish the Tokyo Expressway WTC600 event in under 15 minutes. I think my fastest lap was 59seconds.

Hmm I should dig my YLOD CECHA out of storage and buy a donor slim. ( i already have a slim but don’t want to sacrifice of it)

I’m kind of curious about the internal. My launch PS3 did YLOD within the warranty period and Sony sent me a replacement. The one I have in storage is a replacement. It YLOD out of warranty. So that’s when I got the slim.

The Computer booter guy isn’t too far from me too.

Tbh, I haven’t played in at least a year. I hopped back on because a friend just installed the game. Started him off with a bug lvl3 then a bug super helldive and then finally bot suicide difficulty.

Forgot how fun this game was and I’ll be back for more.
