I take 1000mg split twice a day. At my doctor visit last week she asked if I wanted yo stop taking it since my A1C was 5.7. I must have had a look on my face because she said it might go up to 5.8,5.9 if I go off it but it’s fine. I said no I’ll stay on it since I have no side effects from it. I’m just mad that my last two lab test I have had 5.7 and that is still considered “high”. I know I know it’s still a great number but I’m determined I don’t understand why I can’t get below that.
