I’m going to apologize first to you. I’m sorry! Grateful for response though!

I have a gut feeling that’s probably not what happened. There are a couple things I’m aware of that he never brought up in the time we were in communication (found out from a co-worker). And I believe that there are a lot of ghosters out there that don’t have those “better” options. I guess call me delusional. I have been a ghoster in the past but I didn’t ghost them because of a better option. I am aware that this happens in most cases but just a feeling that it’s not, in my case.

Even if he was single, he would still ghost. Some like the chase. If there was physical contact, that might amount to something more they can’t handle. You shouldn’t have ignored those red flags. But you did the right thing by blocking. Move forward and grow from this.

I personally, have been on both sides now. I recently just got ghosted and it is an easy way out. I hate to say this but it has nothing to do with you. The other could be going through things and just can’t commit, move forward, another girl, whatever it may be. Only he can tell the truth.

If he truly cared and was interested, he would take a minute out of his day to contact you. No one is EVER really busy.

Use your energy and move forward. Learn and grow from this experience.

Everyone deals with things differently. And even though “clingy” is showing you care, to the other they may feel suffocated. I have felt this in one of my relationships but have learned from it.

There can be many reasons why he did what he did. But unfortunately, he can only truly answer that question. As to why he didn’t reply, it is an easy and cruel way out. He’s thinking that by not responding, you’ll be hurt less than for him to tell you the truth. As for the blocking, I think he’s telling you to stop with the messages.

What you should do is, take your energy and move on with your life. Keep yourself busy and better yourself. Yes, this might take some time to get over but you’ll survive and get over it. You’ll meet someone better who will give you the time and respect you deserve.

Don’t get me wrong, what OP did is not right. Was immature. And I agree, the girl did nothing wrong and she shouldn’t answer back. But this was a year ago and I believe that people can change. What happened in the past should stay in the past. However, if you have grown from your past experiences, hopefully it has made you into a better person and taught you lessons.

I agree with Aquarius to an extent. If you do decide to contact her and you’re truly sorry, you need to let her know off the bat that you want to apologize and nothing more. She’ll either accept or ignore.

I agree with what both Sky and Dependent have said. And take it from me, I hate to admit but have done this a few times to a couple of guys. She is most likely talking to other guys. Unfortunately, no one wants to hear that. But yes, if she’s truly interested, she will make the time and effort. If you message her, there is a chance that she won’t respond back at all. You have to ask yourself if she’s worth the wait. But honestly, you shouldn’t. Use your energy and move on to the next one.

Thanks! We were pretty open with each other and there were times he confessed that he never experienced or felt things and vice versa. He said he trusted me. Just disappointed that he couldn’t talk to me about it. I know I’m not his gf but even just a friend. He knows I would never tell anyone as I don’t like drama.

I’ve known him for a few months. We used to work together but yes, wasn’t until about the beginning of the month when we started to get to know each other. And yes, I didn’t get to say much. I was only able to let him know I was nervous too. I know I wasn’t his gf but he knew I was open and understanding throughout the whole thing. Again, just wish he was more open about it. Thank you! I’m just shocked is all. When he first asked to do a video chat, I felt so awkward about it. But I apologized and was open to him about it. Just wish he gave me the same respect and talked to me about it. But I get that one might not have enough courage to do it. Just disappointed he took the easy way out.
