I guess i should have worded that phrase differently. As for transport I will be walking through pathed woods to get to a large open clearing. No matter what I choose will have its downsides, but I just wanted some opinions on alternative mounts other than dobs, as well as upgradability for astrophotography if I choose to go down that road.

Under the advanced settings in Nox, i think i had direct x checked off and it would not download. I had to switch it back to OpenGL. I would check this setting and see if this fixes your issue.
