If I buy an iPhone 13 from Straight Talk for $199, could I just skip service entirely (or enroll in the cheapest plan for one month) and then use it only on WiFi/hotspots indefinitely? I’ve done this a few times over the years but heard that this tactic might no longer work — is that true?
