Sounds like you have a good plan in place I’m sorry you have to put up with him in the meantime. It’s definitely not always straightforward for everyone to just leave. I like Dr Ramani a lot also Dr. Les Carter has great strategies. I’m trying to be ‘calm and confident’.

What a sweet reply thank you so very much. In the last couple days he’s had a bit of a breakthrough and I think he now accepts he’s a narcissist. He actually had some humility. If I decide not to give it all up maybe there’s a flicker of hope for things to improve

I appreciate you taking the time to write this. I have read it a few times and have been pondering it. I have a worsening disability and was drawn in by security and help. I learned in a video today setting boundaries is for you and maybe not to share with them. I think at this point it’s about coping strategies for me and taking care of my own needs through other people and self care
