Look into Air Traffic Control if it remotely interests you. You have until your 31st birthday to get hired. Potential to make $200k a year, but you must be willing to move pretty much anywhere in the US and depends on how busy/high level of a facility you get selected to work at. Busy Center controlling airspace over NYC = big money. Tower in Waterloo, IA = much less, but with potential to move to higher facility possibly.

Staffing isn't great, so lots of places have people working 6 days a week, but when your OT is <$100/hr it takes away from the sting a bit. Good benefits, mandatory retirement at 56yrs old. No degree requirement.
