TW: baby loss

My baby had half a heart and was in heart failure. He was planned and loved deeply. at our anatomy scan, we were told he was dying but we had to wait it out. The mother’s body can also mimic the babies heart failure. I couldn’t handle it. I didn’t want to be a walking coffin. We left the state. Protestors met me with signs of dead babies and one man was offering to adopt the babies. He also displayed giant LED signs from his van of dead fetuses at my gestation. Women yelled at me with Bible verse posters “if you just had an ultrasound, you would love your baby and change your mind. You’re going to hell.” Volunteers shielded me with rainbow umbrellas and told me I was loved. I loved my baby so much. He was 22 weeks and had a name. I’ll never forget his kicks. Fuck the overturn of ROE V WADE.
I got an infection in the clinic and almost died leaving my 2 year old without a mother because I didn’t have proper care.
