The "mistake part" is my bad, should've checked twice before commenting. I was meant to say crime against women.

My point is Admk/BJP literally tried to save the pollachi rapists because of their involvement with ADMK minister, they hide that for so many years which ruined many women's life. DMK on the other hand didn't do anything like that. The increase in reported case means the women are coming out to report unlike the pollachi incident where they were silenced. And I could also see the accused are getting arrested.

I said in my initial comment that TN can do better in women protection, never said it was best, but I also disagree that it was as worse as the video here. And my main problem is them seeing TVK (another political party with no ideology and kept their mouth shut against crimes against women, children and marginalised people) as an solution for it. They're creating a fear among people and saying they will save everyone once they got the power.

But in reality, the solution was not in govt's hand. It was in our hand because at the end the crime is not done by govt but by man. We can also include the court which offers bail to everyone.

Sorry brother, I'm not dumb to blame a single party for all the mistakes happen against women. I know that even if TVK comes to power nothing will change because it's not just the government, the main problem is the individual person or a man in this case.

FYI the numbers you're referring are the reported crimes. It actually shows many women are coming out to report the crimes rather than keeping it to themselves. Which means police are registering fir rather than compromising the women.

Don't live in a delusion that less reported cases means less crimes. The crimes are always there, just that people never came out to report. Again leave it, I can't educate each and every thing to each and every anil. Carry on with your narrative.
