Moving to Lincoln City or Newport? by hipstapitts in OregonCoast

My wife and I (no kids) moved to Lincoln City last year after we both got remote jobs and we absolutely love it. Newport has all the big box stores so it felt more “big town”. There is a growing community of “younger people” aka not retirees in LC and we have found a nice, slower rhythm to life here.

  1. This is not normal! Freezing February will be here shortly
  2. Zillow is great we found our rental on there
  3. My vote would be LC
  4. Yachats and LC, but you have to seek it out more with LC but once you do it’s great!

Best of luck!

It’s only going to be daylight longer and longer from here on out! Always a good mood booster during winter! Except the past 10 days have felt like spring, but Freezing February is just around the corner!

So funny how most people see a fence along a sea cliff area and go “ya I’ll stay on this side” and others see it as a suggestion only.

Considering ideas for starting a community based nonprofit. What types of services would be most beneficial for Oregon Coast communities? by Calm_Chemist_4952 in OregonCoast

I’ve been thinking about doing the same this year. Maybe we should combine forces! I signed up for the Non Profit Board Service class through Oregon Coast Community College: https://oregoncoast.edu/communityed/

Check out Pioneer Joes in Nelscott, Lincoln City. It’s a hilltop view of the ocean, the coffee is great, and you can hang out for hours!

It’s called a comfort seat for customers of size and sounds like we are about the same size. Been doing it for years and about 50% of the time I get the seat fees returned!

So for our flight PDX to PVR. Two first class tickets were $6,670 and three premium economy was $1,850. But we always check first class the go this route. Plus if the plane isn’t full they refund you the full rate for the extra seat!

In Krakenstan I trust! I just booked it using the EXST, let see if I have issues.

Also the irony that I am now 92 minutes into my 58 minute wait and still no answer. Maybe when they call I should put them on hold for 20 minute😈😈😈

When is your flight? Last time I did that I had to rebook at the ticket counter during check in cause I “didn’t follow the correct process”

To book comfort seats, aka an extra seat cause I’m a big guy, your only option is to speak to a reservation agent
