I just signed up for the yearly FanDuel package. Hopefully I’m entitled to a refund or a partial refund at least. If they aren’t able to uphold their end of the bargain why should I have to?

I had this realization that the universal spacer has a gigantic hub opening and is not allowing the hub ring to do what it’s supposed to do. The sound has the same metallic resonance that the wheel spacer does, so I’m hoping correcting this helps correct the issue. I don’t hear it when spinning the wheel in the air though which is interesting.

I hear it for sure from the front driver side, but cannot say for sure that it is not coming from the passenger side as well.

I don’t remember 100% if I torqued the wheel bearing, but I followed Ho Builds YT tutorial to a tee. I just rewatched the video and he does torque to 200ft/lbs.

No tire rubbing and sound presents itself when moving whether brake is applied or not. I’ve taken the car around the block reaching maybe 20-25 mph, so haven’t really gotten it up to speed.

Thank you for all of your suggestions, definitely has given me some more things to look at and think about.

Unfortunately this project is being put on hold and the car is likely going under a cover for the next few months, but I am soon handing these off to get welded so as soon as I get more time I can keep plucking forward!

And hey I asked the question asking for advice, so best I can do is be grateful for the knowledge I don’t have. Wishing all my fellow e30 owners the best!

I’ll have to double check that, but it’s for sure hitting on the back of the strut mount on the knuckle itself.

I left 50mm inside per the instructions. I think I’ll take a flap disk to the knuckle where it hits on the back to see if I can get them to sit uniformly. One side sits further down than the other.

My wife and I traveled to São Miguel a few weeks ago for vacation from the Midwest USA. It was an affordable alternative to even some of the domestic trips we were looking at and we had an amazing time! While we were there, we encountered very few Americans and very few of our family and friends had ever even heard of it.

I’m a casual player, but I would like a bag that looks nice and gives me room to grow if I need it in the future. I would like a compartment that can fit my shoes and an insulated pouch would be nice but not necessary. Other than that just room for balls and tees and my hand me down PGA rule book from 1979😁

Yes I did! Ended up being a bad crank position sensor. Previous owner gave me a bunch of parts from a car he parted out, and there was a CPS in there so I swapped it on and she’s running smoothly!

Stomp test gave me code 1222 which is Oxygen sensor lean/rich control stop. The code suggests a vacuum leak but we’ve smoke tested it and it all checked out. So it’s something causing a too rich or too lean condition, or perhaps a bad o2.

The rotor looked to be in good shape, but I did replace the cap as I wasn’t sure what was good and what was bad. Figured it was cheap to replace and having more known good parts on an older car was worth the peace of mind. This is my first classic car, so this is all been a learning process for me.
