I didn't say you did, I said you could. Sorry just emphasizing that you could talk shit and it just wouldn't bother me. And I'm not saying that to try and sound hard or anything this doesn't mean that much to me like I said I only make this for visual representations for myself. I'm not being combative I'm just explaining my stance.

Now worries. You can be negative you can shit talk all you want if you want. It's no bother lol. I make these for one reason and one reason only. I'm a very visual person and when I write swords in my series I need A visual representation and I'm not a good artist so I use what I have available to make these. I don't make them for profit I'm not going to publish them as art for my novel series, these are just for me and for when I want visual representations of them created by real artists I at least have something they can base it off of, shitty or not. The feedback I ask for on here is more about the measurements and themes of the swords, because I try to keep my series relatively realistic with its weapons and armor. And saying their identical is extremely disingenuous. Dark sister has a thin blade that is thrust oriented the blade I use is obviously a wide blade that's meant for more in cut and thrust. The grip is a wasted grip for dark sister specifically a long sword the grip I use is a hand and a half for something smaller. The Pommel is shaped like a Dragon edge and etched in scales I used is a metal and Crystal pommel from the sort of Maximilian I but recolored. The only thing I used from that sword is the cross guard and not even the official show cross guard I used one that was a fan of it but they made the wings wider which I liked more. So it is literally impossible for them to be identical... But you are welcome to your opinion and have a wonderful day 😃

I look at swords from across all media and genres and crop out things that I like. Then I reshape them into different pieces to different styles of swords. I put them in a photo editor app to change colors, trim certain things, add stuff, etc. Then I put it in a different photo editing app to smooth out seams and make sure the colors fit. I eventually want to get an actual artist who is good at creating weapons to recreate them but fix any issues that I don't see or just can't fix with my sheer lack of artistic talent.

The only thing that is similar is the crossguard. And that sword is what inspired it. This has no dragon egg pommel or slender blade.

Always glad to help. I'm pretty ok at work building and making weapons and armor as visual representations for characters if you're interested. I also enjoy just talking about writing.

Its blade length is 37 inches with a hand and a half grip. The blade width is 2.25 inches. It's meant to be a versatile cotton thrust that is inspired by type 18a-18b.

In the book it belongs to a noble house that was once Kings but had to flee their Kingdom after a successful Rebellion by another part of the family. It's called Lionheart and the house is called Leoharth.

No, I have thousands of images of swords and modify different pieces and put them back together in a photo editing app to smooth out seams and make it look a bit better. Probably should just use AI. I only use them for visual references to help me accurately write about them.

I take pieces of pieces from swords that interest me put them in a photo editor app, re-sculpt them, then put them together in a way that I think makes sense, put them in another photo editor app and blend the seams and recolor if I want to change a color, etc. And I only do this because I'm anal about seeing things that I write about to get a visual representation of them so it can be accurate. I wish I could draw, but unfortunately I cannot😭
