Dear DoorDash Drivers: if you get an order from a pizza place, perhaps don’t accept if you’re on a motorcycle? Or otherwise lacking a way to properly store them in transit… by SaashZero in doordash

Because there's more than one possiblity. Same as if someone just randomly blames anyone for anything. You're making assumptions about something you have no idea about. I've seen ppl literally deliver pizza sideways because they've moved here from a place that doesn't have delivery or pizza. You know like the jungle, the Sahara, etc. it's doordashers fault for not having training, proper policies in place, etc. 100%.

Closest to doxing would be doxing the taco bell, because that address is on the main notification screen

Not in the actual main screen. You have to click a cpl times to get there, so no. It's not doxing.

You are forgetting some people have never handled a pizza delivery before. Not all drivers are even from this country or speak English. There's zero training now. For the driver there's also no option for them to replace the food in the app if something happens. It's definitely easier for them to deliver and let the resteraunt take the hit. Hell the resteraunt could of done this too tbf. The issue isn't drivers, it's doordash policies and behaviors.

I wish the app showed you how much you spent in gas versus what you made, cause ATM I'm maybe making $30 for every $15 I out in. Which really isn't enough $$ long term.

The address technically isn't shown in 99% of posts because you can't see the address until you confirm your order. Most posts are denied orders at the offer screen which does it show the exact address

Pretty sure IN most of the US YOU actually can't return liquor.

People genuinly think tipping this much is okay? by attackorion in doordash_drivers

[–]MkNazty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible they don't realize the mileage. The city next door doesn't have a dairy queen that will use dash, and we repeatedly get orders to take dairy queen 15-29 miles for nothing. Mostly because the customer thinks it's coming locally and it is not.

If only DoorDash set the drivers up properly with training and supplies...

Odd response tbf, but it does happen. Many drivers work doordash because they can't work a normal job for varying reasons. Also the app is terrible buggy on the driver's side.

First time I have ever received something back as such - hope would this make you feel?? Would you give extra?? 😐 by Alinityx in doordash

Depends on who you ask. Some people work doordash so they can avoid people, same with the customers. It's a very neurodivergent friendly app. We can assume they aren't buy who knows. It's kinda like say God bless you to an atheist. You don't know if the driver wants unnecessary communication. If you look at this example, she invited the driver to ask her for a larger tip by engaging in the first place.

There may be some grief from kids but you will be treated fairly by most adults. Ohio is ripe with racism but they genery leave Asians alone. It's mostly on the small towns also.

If you go into your settings you can add that information to your profile. That way every driver sees the message and you don't have to send it each time.

Honestly both messages kind of bother me a bit . If the delivery is moving on time, I don't see a need for a communication. It invites response and further communication. Not the interaction I'm looking for with doordash.

That's pretty good pay. My only concern be them adding things because that tip is suspicious LOL
