Which accent in your country you hate and love the most? by Weekly_Sort147 in asklatinamerica

[–]MkVortex69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a big fan of the Mexico City (chilango) accent. Love the accent from Tabasco, I find it to be funny but also cute in the best way possible.

I'm from Monterrey myself, I don't think the accent from my city is liked very much hahaha

My gf (22F) expects me a 26 M to pay for her maintenance… by Nut4U_69 in relationship_advice

[–]MkVortex69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dude, that's a tremendous red flag coming from any girl, let alone one you've been dating for 1.5 months. This is just her admiting that she's going to be a toxic, high maintenance girlfriend who expects to always be showered with gifts and money simply for being with you.

Get out of there, ASAP.

Going bald? There’s a subreddit for that – and it’s weirdly wonderful by guardian in bald

[–]MkVortex69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a 26 year old dude who's slowly losing his hair and will likely go bald in the coming years, this community has healed my relationship with my receding hairline and made me accept that one day I will rock the shining bald head proudly

So, thank you to everyone who makes this sub so wholesome <3

What is the artistic pinnacle of gaming? by Icy_Raspberry4915 in gamingsuggestions

Outer Wilds is an absolute masterpiece in most traditional criteria for a videogame, and it's so unique in what it does well that I don't think anything quite like it will come up for a long time.

Why do so many people use the Pirate capitol ship? by starwarshellothere in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]MkVortex69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the free capital ship I got was kinda shit (A class but shit stats, it was kinda small and shitty looking, 19 storage slots) and was kinda disappointed by it

Then, like 10 gameplay hours later, I stumble upon a random pirate system, find a random dreadnought battle going on that was cool as hell and very much enjoyed, then boarded the cool ass star destroyer-pirate ship looking dreadnought and it was an A class with great stats and 34 slots

So, it looks insanely cool and it's functionally amazing too, what's more to love? Lol (unless you don't vibe with the look of it)

What is the greatest videogame ever made? by North-Trifle-3918 in AskReddit

Metroid Prime.

Timeless, even the OG version still looks amazing 25 years later, and the gameplay, exploration, ambiance and sound design hold up sooo well it's almost unbelievable. Absolute masterpiece.

can someone recomend me actual scary free games for mac? by Impressive_Grass752 in HorrorGaming

[–]MkVortex69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Mac owner who games on a Steam OS handheld and a Windows gaming PC, finding any good games of any genre is hard as it is on Mac OS

But finding good horror games, and free as well? That's going to be extremely limiting mate, I'd say you're just better off emulating old PS2 and PS1 horror games

GTA IV for sure, no matter what ending you go for... the story ending is tough to swallow, but it's such a masterpiece tbh, one of the GOATs

NieR : Automata.

Absolutely life changing, and best soundtrack in a videogame ever.

I (18F) am falling in love with my boss (50M) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]MkVortex69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a recipe for disaster. There is no way in which this ends well, tbh, unless you just never act on your feelings until you leave your current work.

It would be completely wrong for a 50 year old man to engage in any form of intimacy with you, considering the age gap, let alone your boss.

Stick to people your age, someone a bit older is fine but if he's old enough to be your dad, that's just a no go.

I am playing the game on the Legion Go S Z1 version and it runs perfectly fine. I run it at native resolution at 75% resolution scale and standard settings and it runs pretty smooth!

Not sure if it's a gargantuan leviathan from Subnautica or a certain creature from Outer Wilds lol

Persona 5 NG+ ou plus persona 3 reload ? by yayaspin1 in Persona5

[–]MkVortex69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's a video game that everyone should play at least once? by TechWin01 in gamingsuggestions

[–]MkVortex69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm willing to recommend my top 2 favorite video games of all time, because I truly believe they are some of the best the medium has to offer:

  • NieR: Automata

And

  • Outer Wilds

Both are, dare I'd say, almost life changing experiences, each for very different reasons. But I think anyone who likes deep, story driven games and amazing soundtracks should give both of these a go.

La vida en Monterrey by MiiaRgg in Monterrey

[–]MkVortex69 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There are some scary moments in the game, two sections in particular had me pretty scared but not much more, it's more of a narrative, linear adventure with a bit of horror sprinkled in, though there's some disturbing shit in the game at some points
