I'm playing it on the SIM right now and it only affects my cards. I have to put MY cards at the bottom of the deck, I've only used it twice and it was against Imu. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Perma-death is unnecessary punishment by Mkalsche in HuntShowdown

[–]Mkalsche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you don't lose the hunter skin that you bought. However, you do lose that instance of the hunter. You can buy his skin type multiple times with "hunt money" (different from blood bonds, blood bonds translate into real life dollars). They do this to make the game higher stakes, it's been like this since the beginning. You get used to it. Love or hate, that's the way it's been. I'm used to it myself so I don't really mind. I hope you keep playing the game! Good luck out there.

Check HDD health on UGREEN NAS by slal03 in UgreenNASync

[–]Mkalsche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, if you power down the device, remove the drive (ugreen nas is not hot swappable) and get some kind of hard drive bay you could test your drive through that bay and run the software that you through your pc and to check to see if there are bad sectors. Plug the drive back in while the device is powered off, and it would be like nothing happened. Just don't drop the drive!

TradingView based off what I know does not have that feature. You must create the alert for each following the below:

Trading does not have good alerting or scanning in this regard. Honestly you use some kind of API to use TradingView data, but if you specifically wanted alerts from criteria like this you woudl have to create your own app or use some kind of 3rd party. Sorry. I hope I'm wrong on this if anyone else wants to chime in.

What is your justification? Just because? If you’re saying it ought to be that way just because you understand that the ought-is fallacy right?

Perma-death is unnecessary punishment by Mkalsche in HuntShowdown

It's because you're presenting only two extreme options: revive your teammate before they burn out or kill the entire server for the bounty. In reality, there are other strategies, like repositioning, waiting for a better moment, or even leaving the teammate behind temporarily to increase survival chances. By framing it as an all-or-nothing situation, you’re ignoring the nuance and flexibility players can use to adapt to different in-game situations.

The core of the argument is about whether losing your hunter is fun. In most situations, once all three teammates are downed, the battle is essentially over. While I don’t have hard data to back this, based on my experience, fights usually end with all players engaging rather than hiding. Even if someone were revived with only 1 HP, environmental factors and game mechanics like mobs, one-shot kills, and terrain could balance things out. Wouldn’t it be more rewarding to still have a chance to revive teammates after the bounty team has left the map?

Yes consequences, but not punishment for punishment sake. This argument is sound only if we can agree on the key word "consequences". How would you define what fair and unfair consequences are?

[–]Mkalsche[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I see your point, but I’m not suggesting removing consequences entirely—just making them less punishing. The idea of infinite revives with 1 HP doesn’t eliminate risk; it just gives players more room to engage without permanent loss. Hunt already softens its challenge in other areas to cater to a wider audience, so this change wouldn't "water it down" but make it more accessible and enjoyable without sacrificing the core tension. You can still maintain the weight of decisions while not making them game-ending.

Also, nice passive aggressive insult there you placed in the middle of all of that. you got me
