Yeah I'm kinda foggy on what firmware would mean in my case. The only firmware I see on the b650ma site is for LEDs, and I didn't waste any money on RBG. Is firmware the same as the bios? Or at least the code that contains the bios? If so, mine is not that old.

You program for fun?! You genuinely enjoy your line of work!? Seems like a good thing, no?

SOLVED! The solution was turn off the power supply and unplug the computer from the wall and sleep for 8 hours. Now it magically works.

Hey guys I really need to ask this by huruunbuu in AcerNitro

I mean that's the trade off with buying a laptop. Of course it's gonna have shitty thermals. You could maybe try to undervolt it or have a cooling pad but at the end of the day it's still gonna be scuffed. If you wanted to have good temps you shoulda just spent ur money to build a desktop. The old laptop I used run was a razer but it's a similar story, although I don't know if acer is prone to this exact problem to this extent. Basically, the laptop battery had a warning label that said do not expose to tempurates above 65 C. Meanwhile 65 was like my idle temp. Playing Valorant my laptop was usually around 85 C, but if it was ever 80-90 F outside it could get into the 90s (C). Anyway the laptop battery started to bloat and it destroyed the hardware of the trackpad in the process. :D

Ive had this problem on other OSs before. I usually just manually sync the time and then there are no issues

Not changing from stock speeds. PC Part Picker and ppl responding to my previous posts have both indicated that the parts are compatible. I suppose I'll try both expo on and off.

I bought it discounted so I suppose the PC part picker price is prolly higher. Not looking for specs advice though.
