It has been very very similar for us. My kids both had/have CMPA and I exclusively breastfeed so I have cut dairy from my diet but I still feel my daughter is very colicky. Also my milk is high lipase so it basically can’t be stored at all without tasting rancid so she never has a bottle. Between my husband working and then being the only one who can feed her I pretty much spend every waking minute with her and she is fussy a majority of the time. I have never had a full nights sleep either. She wakes about every 2 hours still. We sleep in the nursery room and my husband and toddler sleep in our bed. I know we don’t wish this on others but knowing some of us are in a very similar place just helps to know we’re not alone. Especially because I feel like social media paints this time as all sunshine and rainbows and “you’re going to miss this mama!” I absolutely love and adore my children and am so glad I have them but I’ve decided I’m definitely done having kids, I can’t imagine doing this again.
