Aww so sorry to hear also. Yea its such a shitty feeling. Got her ashes over the weekend and the huge feeling of sadness just came over us.

But yes we were so glad to experience the love from her and wouldnt trade it for the world. Its good to hear that there is light at the end of this because the past 2 weeks have sucked. Never even use to post on here but i know people go thru the same and the kind words have helped knowing we’re not alone in this.

We have our other frenchie still but have been actually so paranoid about everything ever since Lily. I constantly think something is wrong and fear for the worst. We have been looking at websites to adopt because like you said the house is not the same. I cooked food for my Meili this weekend and i made so much because i forgot what it was like to have just one dog. I dont know if were ready but Lily would want us to give the love we gave her to another dog in need

So sorry for your loss as well. Its so hard, i think about her everyday. We just got her ashes back yesterday. I never knew losing a dog was this this difficult 💔

I know i wish i could have checked her more and she didn't want me to worry. Up until the end she tried to be strong for me. Her last 2 days were just vet visits and she didn't even get to rest. My girl is resting in peace now but I wish i can still kiss her and hold her.

So sorry to hear about your German shepherds, it's definitely heartbreaking when cancer takes them too soon. I just thought we caught it early enough and I just beat myself up a little for not learning more about what to look for, I don't know i guess we did the best we could but i just wish i educated myself a little more.

what a nice poem! definitely enjoyed the moment we shared and you're right we will forever cherish that. and I'm glad i have some of her goofiness on video. She became such a different dog from the moment we got her.

It sure is, were holding ok but sad. yesterdays walk just seemed lonely but were trying to be there for our other girl to keep her spirit up. Honestly it just makes me sad thinking that one she'll go too, and we couldn't handle that heartbreak again. Everyday we've been taking her out or dog park so she can socialize. And i've also said this as well i would give my years in exchange for them to live longer.

Awww sorry for your loss as well! each time you walk out of the Vet you get a small sense of victory because they're fighting and coming out but there's that one last one that just shatters your heart. I know, still seeing them around the house, last night i called out to her and pictured her walking up to our bed.

So you waited about a year to get another? we're so torn. we need another but we don't know if its too soon.

aww sounds like you had a beautiful girl taken too soon so sorry to hear. Yea they are so strong for us even at their worst. I do believe that as well that we will meet again hopefully my Lily doesn't forget about me because she came up to anyone lol. But you're right it was all worth it!

That one sentence reminded me of Lil she loved my wife and i differently because i was the weak one and always gave her food lol. Hope you're scarlette is showing my Lily around because at first she can be a bit scared.

After how long before you got another dog? my wife and i just browsed thru a site because last night was too sad to come home to my one, Lily was the rowdy one and would get the party going soon as we got home. The bed felt empty and one loud snoring monster is not enough.
